What’s Changed?

As the Local Design/Construction Department (LDC) in South Africa we saw the need for

certain areas that needed our focus.
It was decided that the Field Rep responsibilities would be split up, between maintenance
and project planning.

We now have five Field Reps that focus on maintenance and nine Projects Planning Field
Reps.

The Maintenance Field Rep responsibility includes the training of Maintenance Trainers and
supporting them in their effort to train congregation publishers to care for their facilities.
These MTFR’s would also be responsible for coordinating the evaluations of all facilities every

two years.
We have one exception to this due to distance - Kyle and Emily Mcluckie that will be working

across both maintenance and project planning for Botswana and Namibia.

Question : So how does it affect you, as the Maintenance Trainer?

Answer : You will have closer and consistent contact with your MTFR. Receive the support
and training needed to be effective in your assignment. If you haven’t met with your new

MTFR, he will be contacting you shortly.

How to handle questions from congregations?
• Never rely on your own understanding.
• Always refer to guidelines and letters from the organization, example December 2, 2017 letter.
• If you don’t know the answer please don’t guess. Contact your MTFR.
• Always deal with requests in a timely manner. Don’t leave the congregation waiting.

We would like to encourage all MT’s to

LDC Community

We would like to commend all of you dear Brothers and Sisters for your excellent example and conduct as you train and encourage
many congregations. It has been noticed that the spirit of unity and cooperation is very evident in the way you carry out your
different LDC activities. May you all continue to love and encourage those whom which you train. “Let your brotherly love
continue.”—HEBREWS 13:1.
