should complete to begin your journey with us at UM.
After accepting the position offered

☐ Apply for Visa With Reference (VDR) (for International Staff)
☐ Undergo a medical examination by a certified general practitioner either at your home
country or in Malaysia.

Contact Numbers: HR, Faculties; UM Location Map: Cafeteria, Library, Bank,
etc.; Teaching Timetable; Welcome Gift & Others (to be decided by faculties)
☐ Discuss duties & responsibilities - Faculties expectations, KPIs, Welcoming
seminar, etc.
☐ Meet key people at the faculty – Dean, Deputy Deans, Programme
Coordinator, Academic Mentor
☐ Faculty and/or university tour
☐ Onboarding Team representative accompany new staff to HR
Submit required documents (as listed in the offer letter) to the Human Talent
