In the grand scheme of things, our lives are but a drop of water in an ocean
of infinity. However, in the years you've been here, your presence and
influence in this club, in this family, has made ripples that turned into waves
whether you felt it or not.
During the time that you were here, the little conversations we've had, the
contributions and unspoken sacrifices you've made - whether they were big
or small, will be remembered long after you've left.
So, thank you for being a part of this journey, thank you for giving your best
to this club and it's legacy. We wish you the best of luck in all your future
endeavours! Hope to see you all again someday.

was in my Second Year. During
- NIPUNI PERERA a time where I was struggling a
lot with speeches. And u were
one of those juniors who has
helped me a lot with many
things. From academics to
relationship advice. Even with
alot going in your life, u always
accompanied me with a lot of
hardships, I'm referring to our
nights spent in the hostel during
BS '19. I remember how u helped
me practice almost all of my
CC speeches. And I always got
the help I thought I would never
receive from a mentor during
my final year. Thank you

forget the time our little ice
cream dates and the tea
sessions at Gym canteen while

Nipuni Akki - the person who took the impromptu note I had on the
day of BS '19 Prelies, that's my first recollection of you. And then,
during that extended lockdown period (yeah, the one where you guys
kept us locked up in the room for a while) you sat next to me and
explained all about the reasoning behind having the same impromptu
topics for all the contestants. From that first day of meet up to this
day, there is one thing that would always remind me of you is the
MILLIONS OF HOURS we spent under your guidance as your mentees. I
couldn't imagine the effort you put into us (relatively new to gavel)
and the commitment you had to make us come for mentoring sessions
even on sundays. From then, to being the lockdown president - which
was a whole array of new challenges, You managed to come through.
These tiny details show the impact and lasting memory one can have
on others. To my first speech coach, my mentor, the first one to take
my number for Gavel Meetings, to the one that would talk about
Naruto incessantly, to the one I try to become as a mentor... to you
akki, I wish all the good things in life.
Keep your cool and keep us in your thoughts, always (always). Lots of

inspiring people I have met ever. You
That was a year full of new were like a mother to me at times. I
