In the grand scheme of things, our lives are but a drop of water in an
ocean of infinity. However, in the years you've been here, your presence
and influence in this club, in this family, has made ripples that turned
into waves whether you felt it or not.
During the time that you were here, the little conversations we've had,
the contributions and unspoken sacrifices you've made - whether they
were big or small, will be remembered long after you've left.
So, thank you for being a part of this journey, thank you for giving your
best to this club and it's legacy. We wish you the best of luck in all your

Where do I being? You came in to Gavel as this curious little guy and first
"big" thing you did was organized a trip. You kept it cool towards the whole
thing and that organizing was a great job! But you became popular in Gavel
for your connections and one other thing. The connections on how you got
flowers and kept your word on keeping it fresh. That was something. We dont
know how you got them down to Kelaniya in time for Best Speaker, but
somehow you got them through a bus (without any damages), then kept
watering it until the contest so it'll be fresh. That is something notable I saw
and you being so new to Gavel as well. I didn't get a chance to see you
through the ages, but it was always a pleasure to talk to you Supun. And the
other thing, we'll I'm sure most of others already know it. If not, well the senior
female Gaveliers will know!! :D Anyways, joking aside, persuasion is one of
your strongest suits, hope you all the best in your life after graduation. It's just
the beginning :)

Nangi, oyata article ekak ewanna proofread karanna puluwanda? This was a

call I got around 12 midnight. I remember agreeing to do that and then falling

asleep. I was so scared I was going to get in trouble for not doing it in the

morning, but you were pretty cool about it. The first time I met you were

sometimes after that and you said " Ah oyada Sakuni kianne". For some

reason I always loved making fun of you whatever it was about. And you were

always a good sport as well. You are someone who made me feel

comfortable and working with you was always a pleasure. I really wish we got

to spend more time with each other. More than anything thank you so much

for all the ideas you brought up during last year. I know we couldn't execute

them that year. But I'm so glad to tell you that those ideas you brought about

membership registration, club t shirts are within the things that we are doing

right now. And you put that in motion in our club. Thank you so much for

everything you did for the club. We would always be grateful for all the things

you did to keep the name of University of Kelaniya Gavel Club shining!
