Sports Tour
Football
The football term was jam-packed with lots of fixtures for all the boys. The U8s had great fun playing in their first matches and the U9s continued to make good progress. The U10s and U11s both played some fantastic football over the season, and the U13s worked hard to implement the skills learnt on the sports tour into their matches. The highlights of the season were excellent performances at the U8 A Surbiton Tournament, where the boys won the plate competition, and the U11 A Hampton Prep Tournament in which our boys finished in 3rd place out of 14 teams.
Football
The girls and boys have enjoyed playing together in mixed football tournaments this term. The U9 and U11 teams played in the Ewell Castle mixed football festival, with inclusion and togetherness being the key factor of the event. The U10s took part in the mixed football tournament at St George’s. The prep girls have all enjoyed learning new skills during their football lessons on Tuesdays this term and the U8 girls played in their first football fixture against Ursuline.
Netball
The girls in prep have enjoyed a full netball programme of fixtures this term. The U8 and U9 girls have both played in four netball fixtures and have made excellent progress throughout the season. The U10s have played in five netball fixtures and the U10A team were runners up in the Old Vicarage netball tournament. The U11s have played in six netball fixtures and the U11A team were runners up in the Staines Prep netball tournament. It has been great to host many of our netball fixtures onsite this term as well as playing teams away. We have been very impressed with the effort players have shown at junior and senior netball club this term and it has been lovely to welcome the boys to
experience and play netball too!
Aquathon
The Aquathlon took place on Friday 23rd September 2022 at Guildford High School. It was a fantastic event which involved a distanced swim followed by a transition stage and then a cross-country run in Stoke Park. We entered teams in the bronze, silver and gold categories
and everyone who took part thoroughly enjoyed it!
