Theme

Most of the stories that we came across dealt with greed.
The stories will most of the time bring in an evil character and
a good, poor character.

Archetypal Characters

The characters mostly consisted of heros, caretakers, and
outsiders

Narrative Patterns

Several of our stories included tasks and quests for the
characters. Other stories included greedy characters with just
ends that reward the good and punishes the evil

Symbols/Motifs

Example: Monkey-is a symbol for greed

A lot of stories involved dishonor and taking something that's
not yours or doing something your not supposed to.

~Cultural Values~

Chinese culture values honor, respect, and do not tolerate greed
