THE BIRD
By Charlene Ogilvie (Reaveley)

Love is like a bird soaring over the clouds unaware of all the
hatred and prejudice in the world.

Blinded from the teasing of children young and old by others.
He believes that every man, woman and child, black or white

are all entitled to a world where everybody is equal.
God made us and the world thinking that we could live
together in peace and harmony and sing together the song
that the birds sing. But no one hears or cares to listen to the
bird sing. But he believes that he could change the way we

live. If we would only listen to his cries.
He will keep singing until everyone will stop and listen to his

song and then he will go back to heaven knowing that he
has done something to make a big difference in our lives and

change the way we feel about each other.
