A free falling object is
an object falling under
the influence of gravity
only.

Free-fall : the only force acting upon an object is gravitational
force, Fgrav.
From F = ma, where F = Force , a = acceleration, m = mass
We can determine acceleration due to gravitational force.

Although the mass of these
rocks are different,

A ping pong ball and a golf ball of a same size,
were released from a height of 10 m as shown
in diagram 3.
Sebiji bola ping pong dan bola golf yang sama
saiz dilepaskan dari ketinggian 10 m seperti
yang ditunjukkan dalam rajah 3.

i. What is the meaning of free fall?
Apakah maksud jatuh bebas /

ii. Will the ping pong ball and the golf ball reached the bottom of the hill at the same time?
Adakah bola ping pong dan bola golf itu akan sampai ke kaki bukit pada masa yang sama?

iii. Give reason for your answer in b(i)
Berikan sebab bagi jawapan anda dalam b(i)

iv. Determine the time for the ping pong ball and the golf ball to reach the bottom of the hill.
