Activity Design

Activity Name : match the right pair
Suggestion for Instruction : Match types of two-dimensional geometric shapes.
Organization : 4 groups.
Procedure :

1.The teacher gives 2D geometric picture cards one card per group.

2.The teacher puts the game boards for every group in front of the room. The representatives from
each group have to stand 3 meters away from the game board.

3. Students discuss about the game in the group. Then the students from each groups have to
match the 2D geometric card in the game board.every member in the group have to match the pictures one
by one until all pairs are matched.

4.The group that finishes first and all the answers are correct, it will win. But if it is done first
and there is a mistake, it will lose. Teacher will consider the group without mistake that finishes later will
win.

Note : Each board game has different shapes and sizes.
Observation Checklist :

1.Observe students about counting the sides and angles of the 2D geometric shapes.
2.Observe students' participation in the group.
3. Observe students about matching the 2D geometric shapes.
