The Caring Princess

Once upon a time there was a beautiful princess, her
name was Jasmin.

 She lived in a big castle, with butler's, maids, cooks and
lots of other people.
But even tho she was a princess, she didn't treat them
like slaves, she treated them with love and care and
appreciated everything that they did for her. 

Also living in the castle was King Boris, he was princess
Jasmin's father. He was a fair king and loved his daughter
very much...just as much as his favourite Knight, Sir Liam
of Gallagher! 

One sunny morning, princess Jasmin went for a walk into
the town to help those less fortunate than herself. You
see, Princess Jasmin loved helping people.  

On her way she stopped in at a pretty little tavern to get
a drink. As she stood at the bar she heard a horse trot
up outside, she turned towards the door and saw a
handsome man walking in.

The Caring Princess

It was Prince Paul of Pocklingtonshire!

They hadn't met before, but being such
a gentle kind person, princess Jasmin
said "hello ".

Prince Paul stopped in his tracks, he couldn't believe the
beauty that was in front of him. "Who is this beautiful
creature" he thought to himself as he approached
Princess Jasmin...

The prince asked if he could join her at the table, to
which the princess agreed.

The two sat talking for hours, and Prince Paul informed
the princess of his lengthy battle with the wicked witch.

It wasn't long before the prince and the princess fell
madly in love and were arranged to be married and lived
happily ever after...

The Patient Prince

Once upon a time there was a beautiful princess.
Throughout the land, everyone spoke of her beauty and
so many painters queued up trying desperately to
capture princess Jasmin's perfect smile.  

Her beauty was only equalled by her kindness! But the
princess was unhappy ... despite her wealth and
beauty, she longed to be loved and cared for. 

One day, princess Jasmin decided to go
for a walk to clear her mind.
Before long, she arrived at a market and spent her time
browsing the stalls, looking at the
pretty fabrics and enjoying the
scented candles and soaps. 

As she continued to explore the market, the princess
spotted a bridal stall...full of beautiful wedding dresses. 

The princesses heart sank "I wish my prince charming
would come to find me"...  The princess continued
around the market until she saw a stall tucked away from
the others...hanging over the stall was a sign that read
"Amazing Love Potion". 

The Patient Prince

Jasmin was intrigued so went to investigate! As she
walked upto the stall she was greeted by an old woman...

"Princess...I saw you looking at the wedding dresses...I
can help you find your princes charming! Just £10 for my
love potion" Princess Jasmin was cautious, but wanted
her prince charming so badly that she decided to buy
the old woman's potion!

The princess took the potion and made
her way back to the castle. 

That night, she princess sat on her bed, wishing that she
had someone to hold her as she falls asleep.

She looked at the potion sat on her favourite Toulouse
desk... She picked up the bottle, removed the top and
paused for a moment. 

What could go wrong she thought...I would do anything
to find my soul mate Jasmin took a sip from the bottle
and laid down on her bed, only her loyal kitty for
company. She closed her eyes, hoping the potion would
work. 

The Patient Prince

The next morning, King Boris was sat at the table eating
breakfast.

Looking at the clock he said to his
servant's
"Where is that girl?"...please go and
raise her he ordered them.

The servants rushed off to princess Jasmin's bedroom
where they found her still sleeping. No matter how hard
they tried, they couldn't wake her.

The king ordered the greatest minds in the kingdom to
find out what had happened, and how to wake his
daughter. 

After weeks of searching, one of the king's advisors told
him about the love potion and they had found the old
woman who had sold the princess the potion. The king
ordered that she be brought to the castle!

The Patient Prince

The old woman was taken to the king... She explained
that the love potion had no antidote other than patience
and true love itself.

She described that the princess will awake to the loving
touch of her soul mate, but it will require the patience
and determination of a man who will wait with her until
she awakes. 

The king immediately issued an order for
every Knight in the kingdom who wanted his
daughters hand in marriage to come to the
castle and wait for her to wake.

Men from across the world arrived at the castle, hoping
to be the one to wake the princess.  

As the days turned to months, and months turned to
years passed, the men grew bored of waiting and one by
one they left...the castle once full of suitors now sits
empty... apart from one faithful prince. 

This was prince Paul! He had been the first to respond to
the king's request, and for many years he had stayed by
the princesses side, talking to her, holding her hand,
waiting for the day she might awake. 

The Patient Prince

He was mesmerised by the princesses beauty, and was
overwhelmed by the stories he had heard of her
kindness.

His once amazing clothes were now worn, but he
couldn't leave the princesses side.

As he sat beside her, running his finger over her cheeks,
he noticed something wonderful...the princess stired!
The prince watched her intently as she gently opened
her eyes...they were the most beautiful brown eyes he
had ever seen!

The princess rubbed her eyes and said "who are you?"

I am prince Paul, I have been sat by your side for many
years waiting for you to wake up.  

The king and the old woman came into the room and
explained what had happened.

"The potion has worked" exclaimed the old woman... the
princes patience alone hasn't woken you Jasmin, it
needed true love too.  

As the princess looked at the princes kind eyes, she felt
something she had always hoped to feel... True love!  

The Patient Prince

The prince lent forward, kissing her softly, knowing that
his long wait had been worth it.

"I have waited my whole life for you princess Jasmin, and
every moment that I have waited has been worth it for
this moment...would you make me the luckiest man in
the world and be my wife?"  

The princess knew that he was the man she had craved,
so her decision was simple... "Yes!!" she said!

The king announced the engagement to the kingdom
and the two were married soon. The princess wore a
beauty champagne dress, and the prince a blue suit and
blue tie... It was the happiest day of her life! As the
princess thanked the guests and handed them their
home made jam gifts, she saw the old woman who had
given her the potion.

The Patient Prince

She approached her and said "why did you make me
sleep for so long and keep me away from my soul
mate?"  

The old woman replied "true love and happiness is
timeless, the potion I gave you forced the prince to wait
for you, not being able to have you completely as he
would have wanted. 

The time you weren't able to be together has proved
your love for eachother and now your love is stronger
than any other power in the world" 

 The princess hadn't ever considered this before, the
thought of being away from her soul mate seemed so
hard...but now it all made sense.

The Princess's Desire

We pick up our story after the wedding of princess
Jasmin to her man. 

It was a beautiful day, filled with joy and happiness for
the whole kingdom! Once the celebrations were over,
the happy couple settled into their new lives together...
everything was perfect.

But the princess felt that something was missing . 
As hard as she thought, she couldnt quite figure out
what is was...she had her prince charming, she had her
beautiful home and she loved working in the kingdom
helping all those less fortunate than her.  

One morning, the princess awoke to her
usual breakfast of coffee and pancakes , 
brought to her by her husband.

 "Princess, you look troubled" he said as he handed her
the plate... "I am" said the princess, "I have everything I
have ever hoped for...but still I feel something is missing
".  

Paul sat on the bed, looking into her beautiful brown
eyes and said "we will figure this out together". We will go
to the market today and see if we can find what you are
missing... The princess got dressed as her Paul readied
the carriage to take her to town.

The Princess's Desire

Once at the market, the prince and princess strolled
around holding hands, desperate to find the one thing
that would make his princesses life complete. 

They looked at beautiful fabrics...gold and silver
jewellery...shoes and handbags!

The princess was grateful of her husband's help, but it
wasn't a yearning for material things that she felt...it's
was more than that.  

Paul felt lost...all he wanted was for his princess to be
happy .
The couple decided to pop into a cafe before heading
back to the castle...the princess took a
seat as her prince charming got her a
drink. 

As Paul was walking to their table, he spotted a young
woman, a tiny baby in her arms. 

It was clear to the him that she didn't
have much...her clothes were ragged and worn, and she
looked like she hadn't a bed to sleep in. 

But he noticed that despite her hardships, she looked
incredibly happy.

The Princess's Desire

Paul approached the lady and said

"madam, forgive my intrusion...you look incredibly happy,
please share with me how you remain so joyful?" 

 The lady looked up at him, smiled and simply replied "I
have every happiness I need in my arms right now"  

He could clearly see the happiness the lady took from
being a mother.

"Thank you, you have been very helpful he said"

But Paul was troubled...he knew that the princess would
make a tremendous mother, but due to a curse put on
years earlier, he could no longer father children... 

 Paul sat with princess Jasmin, telling her that he had
figured out what she was missing...the princess was
intrigued, however he wouldn't yet reveal his findings. 

The following day, the Paul visited the castle doctor to
explain about the curse that had been put on him. The
doctor had seen this before, but reassured him that the
curse can be lifted by his magic scalpel and the love of
the princess.

The Princess's Desire

Paul rushed to his princess to inform her of his news!
"Princess...I have found what you are missing from your
life! a beautiful baby!!"  

The princess paused for a moment, processing her
husband's word.

She had never considered being a mother before...but
since meeting her prince charming all that had
changed.  
She wanted to bring a life into the world with him...that is
what she had been missing!

The happy couple immediately started making
preparations for the royal baby, her husband built the
cot as the princess readied the nursery with beautiful
pastal colours.  Once everything was ready, they sat
together and called on the stalk to bring them their baby
.

The Princess's Desire

The stalk arrived without delay,
placing the princesses beautiful baby boy
in her arms. 

The princess and her husband sat,
staring with wonder at the gift they had been given.  

"We will call him Max!" Exclaimed the princess...her
husband agreed!

It was a perfect name   

Paul stood and looked at his beautiful wife, his beautiful
son... with a lump in this throat and a tear to his eye, he
knew he would do anything to protect them. 

The princess now had everything she could ever
want...Until one day she said to her husband "I feel like
something is missing... "  

Her husband knew what this meant..."I'll call the stork"
he said
