THE CHRONICLES 2020
IT SEEMS LIKE YESTERDAY
by: Nor Zaitolakma Binti Abdul Samad
It seems like yesterday It seems like yesterday
I just changed their diapers, Though sometimes I wonder
powdered little babies, Where all those years, obstacles, joy, pain
wiped away little tears, and laughter
counted little fingers and toes, Where was, the time gone the moments, I
held little hands and kissed little faces raised them up?
over and over again, yet the excitement was never The greatest joy when they were little
enough And now, little that I realize
It seems like yesterday time has snatched them away from me one
My timeless beautiful moments by one.
my life’s greatest gifts that lives on forever And still, it seems like yesterday
the best things that ever happened to me Forever, it seems like yesterday
Unforgettable memories trip down memory lane
Photo by Nynne Schrøder on Unsplash Make me feels like I am back in time
To the precious moments where they were
created
Those good times we all hold inside our hearts
Memories that last forever
It seems like yesterday
When I was newly blessed with five kiddies
Make me surrounded with loves and compassions
Grateful enough though I am far from being a
perfect mother
Thank you and thank you for the wonderful
moments
Beautiful as stars glittering in the Milky Way
Bright as the sun benefits the universe
Priceless more than diamond can offer
Love and wisdom warm us together
You, me, we strengthen our family bonding

Pandu Hidup bak roda,
dan Uji Kekadang diatas, kekadang di bawah,
Telah di persetujui dari alam Rahim bonda,
oleh Nooryuhanis binti Hashim Pandu dan Uji selagi gagah.
Pandu tanpa arah ,
Pastinya membawa parah,
Tentukan arah,
Pasti akan kehadapan terus cerah.
Uji, Teruji dan Menguji,
Saat nya tidak berhenti,
Selagi nafas masih diberi,
Sabar dan Takwa disemat di hati.
Terus jangan berhenti,
Jangan menoleh ke belakang lagi,
Maju lagi dan lagi,
Agar menjadi bekal di dunia abadi.

THE BENCH
by Najlaa’ Nasuha binti Mohd Radin
People come and go
I am here
In silence
Standing still
Serving them
People come and go
I witness everything
Cranky toddler
Flirty couple
Grumpy elderly
People come and go
I embrace the mood
Jovial
Exuberant
Angry
Tense
People come and go
I am still here
Carrying out my duty
