Message from District Chairman

Dear Inner Friends,
We have completed three months of the Inner year 2022-2023. The
month of August was packed with two main events.
East zone meet - Symphony was organised by our District -325 and the
participating Districts were 315,324,326 and 329. It was great event of
friendship and Service. Nine members from the District attended SAR in
Dhaka on 26th & 27th August. I appreciate all for taking part in the
overseas event.
21st September International Peace Day was celebrated virtually. IIW
President Zenaida Farcon was the chief guest and Association President
Dr. Surjit Kaur was the Guest of Honour. Three hundred and eighty four
inner wheel friends participated from different parts of the world-
Srilanka, Nepal, Bangala Desh, Pakistan, Nigeria , Austria , Cyprus,
Philippines and Australia . In the event, Zoom spotlight an interactive
session was moderated by IIW Ed/ MM Prabha Raghunandan. The
programme was much appreciated by all.
In the three months the Club Presidents and their team have done
commendable work in the various projects . I am happy to say that 539
projects have been done under the verticals WE CARE. Beneficiaries are
47,742 + many and amount spent is 46,88,887.
There is a lovely quote - “ Only person you should try to beat is the
person you were yesterday” .

Dear District Chairman Dr. Rita Jha &
District Editor Nibha Mishra

At the outset, I would like to congratulate DC Dr. Rita Jha for
completing three months of her tenure successfully by showing
great enthusiasm in motivating her members to create wonders with
their tremendous work.
The phenomenal and useful projects carried by the clubs of the
district 325 are the testimony and mirror of the hard work and
determination of the members under the able leadership of super
efficient DC Dr. Rita Jha. Your selfless & consistent efforts have
surely touched the hearts of thousands of less privileged and less
fortunate people.
I extend my heartiest congratulations to District Editor Nibha
Mishra for bringing out the E- Bulletin of September month and
always sharing the praiseworthy and impeccable projects of her
district done under the IIW Theme ‘WORK WONDERS’ & Association
Goals ‘WE CARE’. I feel so proud in sharing such outstanding work
on Association media platforms as well as IIW Website. I am sure,
through this E- Bulletin you will be able to publicize the activities of
your district as well as encourage the members to come out with
more innovative ideas to work wonders.

Happy Festive greetings to all !!

September is the month for Literacy and this year festivals also started
early from the month of September.

India is a country with a diverse culture, ethnicities and rich heritage.
Every citizen of India realizes the significance of festivals in the
country.Numerous festivals are celebrated across India throughout the
year some with different names and celebration methods.
In September we celebrated Onam,Ganesh Chathurti and started Navratri
- 10 days and 9 nights Workship of the Goddess who conquered the
demons , evils in the society. The same festivals are called
Navratri ,Durga Puja,Vijayadashami or Dashhara .
In today's world technology provides us means to virtually connect with
our friends and family in any part of world in few seconds.
Taking advantage of technology, District 325 celebrated Peace day on
Virtual platform thru webinar. More than 380 Inner Wheel members from
world wide attended this webinar. Thanks to IIW President Zenaida
Farcon for her gracious presence as chief guest of this event.
Association President Dr.Surjit Kaur graced the occasion as the Guest of
Honour. It was a great pleasure to celebrate Peace day with all the Inner
Wheel dignitaries and friends joining World wide.

September was full of the activities for the by clubs of District 325..I
appreciate club members for their excellent work aligning with the goal of
our Association President " Work Wonders ". Dear friends we have to
Keep doing wonders for the community.

I would like to thank our District Chairman Dr. Rita Jha for her constant
guidance and support.
Thanks to all the club Dear Editors for taking part in competition so
enthusiastically.

INNER WHEEL DISTRICT 325

District 325 celebrated World Peace Day on Virtual platform
globally, in which more than 380 members from 14 countries
around the world participated.
Along with the gracious presence of Chief guest of this program IIW
President Zenaida Farcon ,Guest of Honour Dr.Surjit Kaur, IIW Editor/
Media Manager Prabha Raghunandan,Association Vice President
Preeti Gugnani, Past Association President Saroj Katiyar, Association
Secretary Ratna Behre,Association Treasurer Archana Bajpai,
National Editor Rajni Katia and many other dignitaries of Inner
Wheel joined this event.
Highlight of the event was "Zoom spotlight" . Six speakers from
overseas shared there views on the true meaning of
Peace....Wonderfully conducted by Moderator IIW Editor/ Media
Manager Prabha Raghunandan.

"DURGA STUTI" WITH "DANDIYA DHAMAAL"

IW District 325 initiated a joint virtual event based
on "DURGA STUTI" WITH "DANDIYA DHAMAAL".
Dist 350 from Nepal,IW Dist 322 from Srilanka,
IW Dist 309 & IW Dist 319 from INDIA participated
in this virtual celebration.This event was coordinated
by DISO, District 325 Priyaka kumar.

JOINT PROJECT

Cancer Awareness and Peace day celebration

19 clubs of District 325 took initiative to spread awareness for
Cancer in children. A joint Car Rally was organised by the 19 clubs on
the occasion of Peace day to spread awareness among citizens of
Pata City. The rally started from Gandhi maidan and ended at Digha
Ganga Bridge. This rally was led by District Chairman Dr.Rita Jha. It
was a huge success and was quite impactful. Members from all the 19
clubs took part very enthusiastically. Three young cancer survivors
were felicitated on this occasion.
