Well, there are actually a few differences between Malaysia & China. In China,
they use RMB 人民币 (rénmínbì), whereas Malaysia use MYR 马币 (mǎbì) as the
currency. Besides, in Malaysia, we only say 令吉 & 仙 as for ringgit & cent, but in
China they say 元 & 角. In fact, one Ringgit Malaysia equals 1.56 China RMB. Here is
some basic knowledge you need to know.
10.2 What’s the difference between Malaysia money & China money?
The empty boxes are to put the number that you’ ve learnt in the early topic. For
example, one ringgit fifty cent 一令吉五十仙 is how Malaysian pronounce whereas the
China people will say it as 一元五角.That’s the difference between Malaysia & China.
All you need to do is just replace the numerical before 令吉 & 仙. For now, you should
be clear about the money and price.
