Lavender Garden (also known as
Cameron Lavender) is located along
the main road right between the two
villages of Tringkap and Kuala Terla
and 9 km from Brinchang town.
Malaysians
don’t get to
see lavenders often, so this garden is an
opportunity to admire lavender blooms, as well as
other colorful flowers. If you have seen lavenders
abroad, then you might find the garden smaller
than expected.
Not only lavenders, you also can see any other types of flowers such as
daisies, morning glories, .and those adorable white flowers.
Along with their lovely flowers, there are also a colorful wooden windmill
displays up over the hill. There are white picket fences, signboards for the
flowers, a vintage car, and the large light purple castle, which is actually the
office for the staff.
In addition to that, you can also taste a
unique Lavender Ice Cream up there. It
might seem like just a gimmick but that
doesn’t stop people from wanting to
sample the homemade lavender flavored
ice-cream! What does it taste like? Some
find that it tastes like soap while others do
enjoy the taste so it’s up to you if you want
to try it.
It can get very crowded during the
weekends and public holidays. Crowds
can start pouring in as early as 10am and it
is best to visit this place during a weekday
when there’s not so many people. So,
What are you waiting for?
Grab a bag, pack some clothes and let’s explore
Lavender Garden!
