6. CONJUNCTIONS
Conjunctions are words that connects words,
phrases or sentences. Think of them as “joining words.”
1. Coordinating conjunctions join ideas that are
independent:

Prepositions
A preposition is a word or group of words used before a noun, pronoun or noun
phrase to indicate direction, time, location, and spatial relationships, as well as
other abstract types of relationships.
Direction : Look to the right and you’ll see the shop.
Time : We’ve been up since last night.
Location : I saw her with her husband at the mall.
Space : The books were kept under the desk.
