Inroduction

✓ The Ancient Egypt lasted
✓ I introduce you to ancient Egypt with it

its linguistic and mathematical
innovations, spirituality and religion and
extensive political and military.
✓ We will talk about monuments, kings
and queens, their thriving period and
their study of science and maths.

Map of Egypt

✓ Before making egyptian empire they were just small cites and
states that flourished along the nile river

✓ The city-states were then divided into two part named
according to the nile rivers flow
✓ Upper egypt (upstream)
✓ Lower egypt (downstream)
About 3100 B.C. the two halves united to make the egyptian
empire which lasted for a millenia.

The 3 periods

✓ There are three major periods of prosperity.The
are:
✓ The old kingdom
✓ The middle kingdom
✓ The New kingdom

✓ There are also two intermeditate periods of
instabilty.They are
✓First intermeditate period
✓Second intermeditate period

Kings and Queens

✓These rulers who were not always men
nor egyptian were considered protectors
of the people and served as liaisons
between humanity and the hundreds of
gods they worshiped

✓After these rulers passed away they were
considered to become gods

Pharos

✓ There are almost 300 hundred rulers who
ruled this civilzation

✓ The kings and queens are usually reffered
to as pharos.

✓ Pharos means 'great house' in ancient
egyptian language

✓ It was never really the formal title of the
rulerit only became synonymous with a
rulling induviaual in mordern times, thanks
to its use in hebrew bible

Mummfication

✓ After a king or queen death their body is
embamled and they are covered with linen and
are buried indside a monument
