Missing Cat

When I went to visit my grandma for the summer, she had a new cat. This cat was very
pretty, her name was Diana. Diana was a very busy cat. She would run around and play
fetch . Some would say she was more like a dog than a cat, Diana was sitting in my
grandma's yard when she came home. She said Dinna did not have a collar or anything. So
my grandma took her in. Diana was very quiet the first 2 weeks but after she got comfortable
she was back to normal. Fast forwards a couple months later. We went to visit my grandma
for the summer like always do. When we came Diana was a little shy but she came
around.When my grandma went to the store my brother left the door open. A few minutes
later he ask “where is the Cat?” I told him I did not know. We started to search around the
house and outside. 3 minutes before my grandma pulled in we found the cat in the garage.

down. Pets can make you have a big smile on your face. Pets make you feel like
you're on cloud nine, pets are as sweet as candy. There're always waiting for us

to come home. Most people have dogs or cats. Pets help you when times are
hard. Pets introduce you to new people. Time spent with pets are never wasted,
they help you express joy. You'll never be alone waking up to a beautiful pet next

to you.

7 Steps to making the best
Broccoli Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo

1. Bring a large pot of water to a bowl. Season the water with salt. 4
2. While waiting for the water to boil, heat a large skillet over medium high heat with 1 tablespoon olive oil. Add the

broccoli, season with a pinch of salt and pepper, and cook the broccoli uncovered for 4 minutes until bright
green. Add in ¼ cup water, and cook uncovered until the water has evaporated, and the broccoli is crisp tender.

Transfer the cooked broccoli to a medium size bowl.
3. Add the fettuccine to the water, and cook to the serving amount on your product.
4. In the same skillet you cooked the broccoli, heat another tablespoon of olive oil, and cook the chicken in an even
layer. Season with salt and pepper. Cook about 5-7 minutes, or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked
thru, turning the chicken several times. Transfer the cooked chicken to the same bowl as the broccoli.
5. In the same skillet, melt the butter, then cook the garlic for 30 seconds, or until fragrant. Then add the heavy
cream, and scrape up any brown bits from the bottom of the skillet. Add the grated parmesan cheese, and cook

until melted and just starting to bubble. Turn the heat to low.
6. When the pasta is done cooking, reserve 1 cup of the pasta cooking water. Drain the pasta from the water, then

add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the sauce, and toss to coat the noodles. Add in the cooked chicken and
broccoli, toss to combine. If necessary, add in pasta water to thin the sauce.
7. Optional: You can serve it with Parmesan cheese

Technology

Most people are starting to get less sleep. Mostly because of electronics, the things we use every
day keep us up all night. Mainly kids are being affected by it. It can keep kids up at night and make them
sleepy during the day. It might distract a teen driver from driving. Technology is a good thing sometime
like when you need research sources. It can be addictive kids can forget to do their homework because
they were on social media for 5 hours.

Technology can affect with sleep, getting enough sleep can be hard enough for kids who have
homework and after-school activities in their weekdays. Extracur activities like sports on weekends. Plus
most kids spend time watching hours of TV. which leads up to as much as 3 to 4 hours a day.When we do
use computers, games, and TV, we are not interacting together. It is sometimes difficult to be with our
families and find good quality time to spend with each other. Having technology can cut those moments.

To limit technology use make a schedule of when it can be used. There can be family movie night
so everyone can watch. Having a TV in the bedroom can be a problem for sleep. Keep it off when it's
dinner or breakfast. Buy board games or good books instead.

I took this picture when my family and I were
going to Kansas. Many people don't know that I was
born in Greenville Mississippi. I lived there for 7 years.
When we went on vacation to kansas to visit my aunts
in 2011 it was my first time coming to kansas. At first I
thought kansas was a country but I guess I wasn't that
bright back then. We stayed in kansas for a week. We
went to the legends, I had never seen such a huge
outdoor shopping center. When we went to the mall I
was overwhelmed by the escalators and the different
floors, because the Greenville mall was not that big.
When we got to my aunt's house it was actually my
first time seeing stairs in a house because in
Greenville most homes if not all just have one floor.
When it was time to leave my moms car ended up
stop working I guess it was a cry from god to stay.
This picture is from one of the forest in little rock
Arkansas, we passed through there and Missouri.
Arkansas took us 7 hours and Missouri took us 2
hours to get to kansas. This picture really is one of the
most memorable moments in my life.
