Exercise Clinic
Non communicable diseases (NCD) are on the rise in Malaysia. KMHS is proud to embark on research projects
related to NCD prevention by setting up an exercise clinic in UniSHAMS campus, Kuala Ketil, Kedah.
Exercise Clinic is a smart partnership project established in collaboration with MS New Symphony Sdn Bhd,
UniSHAMS and Ministry of Health. The clinic was launched in February 2019. The main objective of this
collaboration is to work towards reverting pre-diabetic and pre-hypertensive conditions through non-
pharmacological intervention.
Entry Requirements
The basic qualification for students to enter MBBS UniSHAMS is a satisfactory academic requirements as
stated in the box below. English language proficiency and age requirements are prerequisite as required by the
Malaysian Medical Council (MMC). UniSHAMS provides considerable opportunity for SPM, STAM & STPM
leavers to join Asasi Sains (ASC) (R/010/3/0247) (MQA/FA1687) for one year as a pathway to enter MBBS
programme provided that the students fulfill the MQA/MMC entry requirements.
School Certificate Pass SPM/SPMV/ O-level or equivalent with CREDIT in Bahasa Malaysia and English
and at least FIVE B each in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics or Additional
Level Mathematics and another subject .
AND Pass STPM with grades BBB, ABC or AAC in THREE subjects of Biology, Chemistry,
Higher School and Physics or Mathematics
Certificate Pass Matriculation or Foundation in Science or Pre-Medical course with CGPA 3.0 out
of 4.0 in THREE subjects of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics or Mathematics.
