This notebook has been designed in order to help students understand the meaning of
certain words in context, store the vocabulary items in an organized fashion and use
them in context where and when necessary. The vocabulary items have been organized
thematically. There are 10 themes and about 80 words in each theme. All the themes and
words chosen are in line with the Turkish National Curriculum. The notebook has been
designed in such a way that students understand the meaning of words in context, see
how they are used and learn their collocations. In addition, the pictures have been used
to help students understand the meaning of words and appeal to learners visually.
