Introductory story
Phra Anuruddha Thera or Phra Anuruddha Thera Sakya He is a
Buddhist monk of the Buddha. Counted as Phra Asiti Maha
Disciples, 80 important figures in Buddhism during the
Buddha's time Phra Anuruddha Thera is a relative of the
Buddha which he is the son of King Amitotana who is the
younger brother of King Suddhodana who was the father of
Prince Siddhartha
Phra Anuruddha Thera Ordination with 5 other princes and Mr.
Upali Phusa Mala Na Anupiya Nikhom when he attained to
become an Arahant. He always examined the world with his
divine eyes. The Lord Buddha then praised him as the supreme
Buddha Ettakka (Clairvoyant Eye).
To profess buddhism
Prince Anurudha Kumar when still a layperson
maintains the status of the son of a wise king, has 3 castles, even
the word "no" has never been known. When the other Shakyana
princes came out to ordain after the Lord Buddha Lord
Mahanama, who is the elder brother, then asked about the
ordination with Anruddha that he should decide to choose a
member of his family to ordain. But Anuruddha denied that he
would not be able to ordain because he had been blessed and
unable to remain ordained.
Lord Mahanama accepted the ordination. By teaching
the rice farming in detail from plowing to harvesting Circulating
every season, every year, to Anuruddha Anuruddha listened and
thought The work never ends therefore said that he would
volunteer to ordain himself
Then he went to ask permission from his mother. His mother
probably didn't want him to be ordained, so he challenged that
if he could invite the King of Sakya to be ordained. will allow
ordination So he went to fight and persuaded Phra Chao
Phatthiya Racha to be ordained. At first, Phra Chao
Phatthiyaracha refused. Until finally Phra Anuruddha strongly
urged and Phra Chao Phatthiya Raja probably saw the merits of
ordination and therefore gave up the throne to be ordained
accordingly.
Therefore, Prince Anuruddha was accompanied by the five
princes, namely, Prince Bhaddiya Shakyaraja, Prince Ananda,
Prince Bakku, Prince Kimbila. and Prince Devadatta and Mr.
Chang Kalbok named Mr. Upali Phusa Mala, a total of 7
ordained at Anupiya Amphawan in Anupiya Nikhom, Malla
Province.
When Phra Anuruddha was ordained went to study meditation
with Sariputra Then go to practice meditation in Pachin Forest,
Samruekhathaiyawan Palace. Reminds me of the seven great
sorrows as the dharma of the least-wishers. welcome to solitude
It is not the Dharma of the greedy, for example. The Lord
Buddha arrived and learned of it, and therefore spoke the 8th
Mahapuris' concern that it was the Dharma of the one who is
not late. Phra Anuruddha continued to practice his
enlightenment and attained arahatship.
when you have attained enlightenment He always liked to
examine the world with the divine eye. except when I eat food
only For this reason, the Lord Buddha praised him as the
superior of all the monks visionary
His work on buddhism
Doing great alms to Phra Pathumuttra Buddha
Heard that when the Lord Buddha named Pathumuttra, Phra
Anuruddha Thera was born in the family of a great householder.
when he grows up One day, I went to the temple where Phra
Buddha Pathumut resided. and listened to the Dharma at the
end of the group of Buddhist companies in that viharn saw a
form of monks established by the Teacher as the top So he
would like to be like this monk in the religion of one of the
Buddhas in the future.
Therefore, he invited Phra Pathumuttra Buddha. and made
offerings for 7 days, then he fell down at the feet of the Master
express the desire that as a result of this offering I do not desire
any other treasure. only in the future May I attain that ettagga
position in the religion of one of the Buddhas in the future, just
as the monks you have established in that position on the last
seven days from today.
The Master examined the future with the Buddha's insight. He
saw that this son's wish would be fulfilled. therefore prophesied
that the virtuous son Finally of a hundred thousand in the future
The name of the Buddha was Gotama. will happen His name is
Anurudha. You will be the supreme supreme monk. in the
religion of the Buddha as follows: when he had prophesied He
gave his blessing and returned.
since then as long as the Buddha was still alive You have always
done good deeds. When the Master passed away When the
golden chedi of about 7 yojans was successfully built So he went
to meet the monks. and asked the monks, What kind of merit
do you do to get the eye of the gods? The monk said that one
should make merit with a lamp.
So he ordered thousands of lampshades to be built. and build a
lamp with porcelain cups and bronze trays can't count offering
as a buddhist and pray that This merit should be a factor for the
formation of the divine eye. He did this for the rest of his life.
when it expires then traveled in the landscape of gods and all
human landscapes It continued like that for a hundred thousand
kilometers.
Offering food to Phra Uparitta Pacceka Buddha
Please don't hear the word 'no'.In the days when the Buddha
had not yet arisen He was fertilized in Varanasi again. In the
house of a miserable pauper family His name was An Napha, a
grass carrier. Lives with Sumon Rich who gives great alms at the
door of the house to the orphans, those who travel, wander and
lift every day.
One day, the Buddha called Uparitha enters Nirodha Sombat at
Mount Khanthamat Leaving that treasure and considering who
should be rendered favor today. ordinary monks would be
compassionate to the afflicted He therefore thought that today
we should take pity on Mr. Annapa. He knew that Mr. Annaba
would come out of the forest and return to his home. So he flew
from Mount Gandhamat. to stand in front of Mr. Annapa at the
door of the house
Mr. Annapha saw that the Pacceka Buddha was holding empty
alms and asked him to wait here first. and hurried to ask his wife
Did you have the food that you had prepared for us? She
replied, "Yes. So he took the alms bowl from the Pacceka
Buddha and said, because we haven't done good deeds in our
past lives. We must be employed by him like this. When we wish
to make merit but lacking things to make merit when there is
something to make merit .Come today, we meet the Phra
Uparitta Pacceka Buddha. And there are things to make merit.
You put food that is my portion in this bowl. The wife thought
When does our husband give his portion of food? Then we
should have a share in this as well. Thinking so, he placed his
portion of food in the alms bowl and offered to the Upānitha
Pacceka Buddha. Mr. Annapha brought the alms bowl
containing food to the Pacceka Buddha and said: Let us be freed
from such a difficult life. May I not hear the word 'no'.
The Pacceka Buddha said, "Let it be so." So he spread his
blanket down. and then invited the Pacceka Buddha to serve
food The Pacceka Buddha was seated in that asana. He
considers the food of the promises then I when i finished Mr.
Annapha then offered water for alms alms. After finishing the
meal The Pacceka Buddha made a blessing that what he wanted.
Wish and accomplish immediately
The angel that resided in the tier of Sumon the rich man saw
him and said his blessing three times. Sumon the rich man heard
the angel of the tier say congratulations. So he thought, how
much do we give alms all the time? Still can't make the angels
bless. Mr. Annapha, who lives with us here Offering alms only
once can make the gods bless because he has made merit with
the person who deserves the sixth We should give the property
to Mr. Annapha. and then make merit as ours, so it will be good
Thinking so, he called Mr. Annaba and asked him if he had
given anything to anyone today. I offered food to a Pacceka
Buddha named Uparitha Sethi said: Then take the kahapa and
give me that merit.
Mr. Annapha replied that he can't, sir. Rich people increase their
wealth to a thousand million. Mr. Annapa also said that Even a
thousand kaha panas can't be given. The rich man begged me to
give me the merit. Mr Anpa said I do not know that merit
should give or should not give But I'll ask the Pacceka Buddha.
If I should give, I will give. If you shouldn't give, you won't.
Then Mr. Annapha went to ask the Pacceka Buddha. Sumon
rich people gave me a thousand wealth. and ask for the merit in
the alms offered to him Should I give or not? The Buddha said
that We will compare to you. There are hundreds of houses in
this sub-district. I only lighted a lamp in one house. The other
houses brought their lamps to the fire and carried them. Does
the light of the original lamp still exist or not? and the lamp will
be brighter. As the Pacceka Buddha said, When you give merit
to others Thousands or hundreds of thousands to how many
people Merit increases only to oneself as follows:
Mr. Annapha bowed down to the Pacceka Buddha and returned
to Sumon Sethi's office, saying: Please take part in the alms
giving. The rich man said Invite you to receive a thousandfold
wealth. Mr. Annapha said I do not sell alms. but I give you the
merit in faith. The rich man said He gave us merit in faith,
but we worship you I give this a thousandfold, take it, Mr.
Annaba takes away a thousandfold's wealth. The rich man said
From now on you don't have to work hard. Thou shalt build a
house near the road. If you need anything, I'll give it to you. You
come and bring it.
Usually, alms offered by any person to the Pacceka Buddha who
came out of nirodha That person would receive the merit that
day itself. Therefore, the wealthy Sumon in the previous visit to
the King He never invited Mr. Annala to go with him. But on
that day, he invited Mr. Annapa to go with him. On that day the
king did not look at the rich at all. His Highness only looked at
Mr. An Napa. The rich man asked, Why does he only look at
this man? the king said We looked at him because we had never
seen him approach the other day. What was his name? Then the
rich man told the story that he did not consume his food. but
offered to a Pacceka Buddha named Uparitta and he shared the
merit He gained a thousand million wealth from him to worship
that merit, the king said He should get some from us. We too
should worship that merit. and then bestowed upon Mr.
Annapa's wealth and then ordered the staff to survey the area
where Mr. Annapa would be housed.
When the staff was clearing a place for the house, they found a
treasure named Ping La. in that place lined up therefore came to
inform the king, ordering him to dig up when those employees
are digging The treasure sank back down. Those employees
went to tell the king again. the king said That property belonged
to Mr. Annapha. Go dig for Mr. Annapa. Employees go to dig
according to orders. a treasure spawned Those employees
carried wealth and piled them up in the palace. The king, having
convened the magistrates, asked, Who has such wealth in this
city? Amat said that there was no one. The king said, "Then this
lord, Annaba, shall be called Thana millionaire in this city He
got the tiered position of the millionaire that day.
