GOALS TENTATIVE

The use of English as a language of communication every Thursday, each week 7.30 am - OFFICIAL ASSEMBLY
is expected to be one of the medium to train students to be more courageous - WELCOMING SPEECH
and not ashamed when speaking English as they are required to speak English - DUA RECITAL
throughout the day. It is hoped that this program will help to improve the
confidence of the students and thus enable students to communicate fluently - BRIEFING BY HEAD OF
in English. ENGLISH PANEL
'Thursday is English Day' is one of the program under the Strengthening
English (MBI) policy spearheaded by the Ministry of Education Malaysia - OFFICIATING SPEECH BY
(MOE) in line with the requirements of the National Education Philosophy. It PRINCIPAL, TUAN HAJI BAKRI
is hoped that this program will get full cooperation from the school
community to ensure that the program is running smoothly and achieving the - 5 MINUTES ENGLISH -
desired objectives. ORAL DAILY COMMUNICATION

OBJECTIVES - DISMISS

i. providing a foundation for students to speak English.
ii. encouraging students, teachers, staffs and administrators to use English
as a daily spoken language.
iii. producing students who are more confident and not shy when they are
speaking English.
iv. nurturing and enhancing students' interest in mastering English.
