SPORT NAME WATER SPRINT WATER SPRINT THE NAME WAS TAKEN FROM THE SPORTS ITSELF. THE OBJECTIVE OF THIS GAME IS TO ATTRACT MORE ATHLETE AND TO INTRODUCE NEW GAMES TOWARDS PEOPLE. 1


1) SAFETY -Make a medical examination before the day of the event and during the day of the event. Who has health problem, you are not available to join this sport. 2)WALK AND RUN -Only allowed to walk and run in the water, never allowed to swim. You will be disqualified if you commited fraud by swimming. You can take breath on the surface of the water. 3)ROUND -Will have 6 groups. 1 group can have 5 people only. You will compete to respective groupings. Who get first, second and third place will go to the next level of this sport. 4)TIME -You have to finish to the race line within 5 minutes. Who`s fail to finish will be considered eliminate. 5)REFEREE -There will have a referee to make sure you in accordance with the rules set. HOW IS IT PLAYED? 2

This sport also have equipment: 9 All this equipment is needed to make sure the safety at the participate for their own risk. The function for SWIMSUIT equipment isreduce the friction and drag in the water, increasing efficiency of the swimmer`s forward motion. The TIGHT swimsuit allow for the easy movement. Next, the GOOGLES. One of the most obvious benefits of wearing googlesisthat they protection againts chlorine water. The good googles provide a protective watertight seal, it can reducing the amount of water that can enter your eyes. After that, we have SWIMMING CAP. this equipment isimportant because it can protect hair less and protect hair againts chlorine. 3


1. 2 3 RULES AND REGULATIONS -You just allowed to walk and run in this sport.If you commited fraud by swimming, you will be disqualified and automatic eliminate in that event. CAN`T SWIM -You can take a deep breath before and during the event started. Butit can take your punctualtime to finish the race. BREATH -You can`t wear a accessories during the event started. You have been announced before the race started. This is because it can take risk that accessories that you wear can be gone. ACCESSORIES -You have to use your own lane, do not cross to the opponentlane because you can be eliminate from that event. 4 LANE ALL SPORTS HAVE THEIR OWN RULES TO MAKE SURE THE PARTICIPATE COMPETE EACH OTHE WAS FAIR. THEY WILL ELIMINATE IF THEY BREAKING THE RULES. 4


All player had to race inside the water in designated lanes until reaching the finish line. Player are forbidden to cross other lane throughout the race.Any action that could disturb other player are count as a foul that could lead to disqualification. The strategies used by professional in this sport usually is called’energy conserve’. ‘energy conserve’is done by moving forward with medium speed periodicity on the first starting and going all out when the player reaching half distance of the finish line. That`s how to detemine the winner in this sport. HOW TO DETERMINE THE WINNER? 5


WHERE CAN IT BE PLAYED? ALL SPORTS HAVE A PLACE FOR THEM TO BE PLAYED. TThis sport actually almost same with sport swimming but this sport has allowed to walk and run. This sport is played at standard swimming pool size and it can be referred to at Olympicsize swimming pool. It same place with sport swimming but the way of playing is different. This place is completely and perfect to do this sport because all equipment were prepared at the place. Medic also have at the place so if there is an unexpected emergency, we can easily use the emergency tools. This place also provides swimwear that you do not own so you can rent or buy these swimwear to use. Necessary items that everyone needs are also available for use such as buoys, googles and more. 6


5. CALORIES Swimming is one of the calorie-burning sports that is very powerful so it is suitable for weight loss. As an illustration, a person weighing 80 kg who swims at a low to moderate tempo for one hour can burn about 423 kcal. When compared to cardio exercise for example, people of the same weight will only burn 314 kcal after walking briskly for an hour. 6. LESS INJURY Swimming has the least risk of injury. Again this is related to the buoyancy of water which helps reduce the burden on the body. In running, for example, the joints of the feet are at risk of injury because your weight is fully supported by the feet. However, it is different with professional swimming athletes. They are actually at risk of shoulder and knee injuries due to repetitive hand and foot movements. 1. EVERYONE CAN JOIN -Swimming is a universal sport that can be done by everyone, both children and adults. Interestingly, even people with special needs can do it. Robert A. Robergs, an exercise physiologist at The University of New Mexico, said swimming also has benefits for people who experience rheumatism, muscle and bone disorders, to weight problems. 2. MUSCULOSKELETAL DISORDERS Swimming also brings benefits to people with musculoskeletal disorders who have to limit physical activity. The buoyancy of water during swimming will reduce the load of body weight by 25-50 percent. So, even if you have problems with your muscles and bones, you don't have to worry about pain. The buoyancy of water can help improve your fitness without causing pain as does running or CrossFit exercises. 3. TRAIN BODY Swimming can be the right choice, because this sport involves the upper to lower muscles. During swimming, your hands and feet will automatically fight the current of the water in order to move forward. Meanwhile, the muscles of the hips, back, and abdomen are responsible for stabilizing the head, torso, and spine. 4. STRENGTHEN HEART & LUNGS Although the movement does not look as intense as running or aerobic exercise, swimming actually has the same benefits as cardio. This sport is able to launch blood flow and oxygen so it is good for the heart and lungs. This has been proven by research published in the journal Revista Portuguesa de Pneumologia in 2016.
