the Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry
(ATSO) rewards companies which have paid the most
taxes for the year and conducted activities to draw in
foreign currency and provide employment, took place
in the ATSO Atatürk Conference Hall on the night of
December 23.

The Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodities
Exchanges (TOBB) Chairman Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu,
who spoke at the ceremony, said if the first city that
comes to mind when people say Turkey is Istanbul,
Antalya is the second and added that as a brand city
Antalya is a source of pride for Turkey in the world.
ATSO Chairman Çetin Osman Budak pointed out that
2014, with only a week left, had been a tough year
both in politics and world economy.
He congratulated the companies that had achieved
an award despite these challenges.

AGT earned two separate awards in the categories
of Export Foreign Currency Income and being among
the top 500 Industrial Companies. We sincerely
congratulate all of our employees who contributed to
this success and all the friends of AGT.

The results of AGT’s Traditional Football
Tournament have been announced

The AGT football tournament, which is organized for the purpose of
helping employees get better acquainted, has been completed. At
least three different teams, formed for the purpose of increasing internal
communication among the groups and supporting teamwork towards a
common goal, played with all they had for seven weeks.

The great interest of AGT employees made it possible for the participation of 16
teams. Throughout the organization, in which special uniforms were provided,
all needs were fulfilled with catering services. The teams that made it to the first
three were presented awards by Mr. Mehmet Söylemez and Mr. Cihan Alp. We
congratulate the successful teams of the tournament.

AGT goes to Ermenek
with the ‘Evim Şahane’
program…

About 3 months have gone by since the mining accident in Ermenek, an incident that all of
Turkey mourned. We went to Ermenek with the ‘Evim Şahane’ team to visit Ayşe and Recep, who
lost a son in the mining accident, and help renew their home to provide a little bit of relief to
their tragedy. Their faces, darkened by months of crying after their son, who was a victim of the
accident, lightened up a little at the prospect.

In the project, for which the interior doors and kitchen cabinet doors were selected from AGT
products, and the special touch of architect Selim Yuhay enabled them to maintain the original
atmosphere of the home. We were pleased to be able to provide support with our products to
this project for which AGT products were chosen.

AGT assembly crew.

In my opinion life and property safety can only be achieved through complete compliance
with rules and laws and the full use of personal protective work safety equipment. These
require effort, time and money.

How effective do you think laws are on employers/employer representatives
or employees in terms of preventing work accidents?
In order for a law to be effective, it has to be complied with including all of its articles and
punitive conditions in full by everyone. Otherwise all of these will remain on paper and not
benefit anyone. The power of a law is measured by its power of sanction.

We are in a time where technology expands very quickly in the field of work.
How are we keeping AGT up with changing technology in order to maintain work
health and safety at the highest level?
I think the AGT is making use of all the benefits of technology to maintain work safety. In fact I can
confidently say that no expense is spared on this subject. The instructions of the board of directors
on this subject “human life is more important than anything” is carried out in the full meaning.

What kind of setting do our employees work in? As AGT what kind of applications are
we implementing that are any different than the laws to make the working environment
safer for employees?
AGT employees work in a much cleaner and more civilized environment than their peers. All manner of
personal protective equipment is provided. We are proud of this.

What are the applications that you are involved in and following that AGT enforces to be
one step ahead?
I mentioned above:
