This is a double page spread from an NME magazine. It contains one large picture
which is also behind the writing and not just on one side of the page.

In this case the colour scheme is very dark due to the picture taken and so the text colour used had to be bright.
So the editor chose white and turquoise not only because it contrasts with the background but also because
it creates the effect of the writing being bold and therefore stands out better.

This double page spread is different to normal as the picture and text are on
two different pages. This helps to differentiate the two.

believe for my DPS i will use a picture that covers both pages as it is causes the page to look bolder.

I like the colour scheme of this picture as it is bright red, blue and navy and is attractive to a reader. I also
like the fact that the editor has allowed for a bigger picture by having a smaller font for the article to let
the picture be the first thing on the page and allow you to follow a natural eye flow to the article.
