Welcome

Everyone’s excited for Summer, while the
temperatures rise people’s needs change, and
customers expect to see seasonal produce in-
store along with meal inspiration for breakfast,
lunch and dinner. We aim to meet these
expectations and ensure ViVO and ViVOXTRA
can react to the changing demand.
To maximise your sales potential and get your
store summer ready, we have combined all the
products you will need in one booklet. From
feeding Dad on Father’s Day (19th June) to rallying
around Wimbledon (27th June – 10th July), and
not forgetting the unlimited opportunities BBQs,
picnics and staycations present.This booklet will
provide all you need to improve your customer
offering.

to help with in-store placement of trending

Due to changing tastes and demands, consumers are now eating an
array of salads which not only include the traditional coleslaw and
potato salads, but they are now expecting to see a range of dips,
houmous, olives and antipastis.

2021 saw our warehouse salads volume increased by +36%, this
was driven by dips and antipasti lines which combined, more than
doubled volume versus 2020. This is a category showing continued
growth and is well worth its space on shelves.

Fruit & Vegetables

Coming into Summer, consumers tend to stay away from slow cooked meals instead
they lean towards the more healthier salad option to accompany picnics, BBQ or
alfresco eating. Ensure you have a variety of salad staples including lettuce, tomatoes
etc. Rearrange your fruit & vegetables to increase salad space to allow for the range to
be increased.

In 2021 berries grew +23% in volume, with stone fruit growing +23%. Tomatoes grew +13%
in 2021 while prepared salad grew +10% in 2021.

cream to cool down, stock up those freezers.
