The Lecky family have been serving local butchery
products to the Castlederg community for 50 years.

Victor Lecky opened his first butchery shop in The Diamond in 1971 and went on to
open a VG Supermarket at William Street in the town, just five years later.

With a focus on providing the finest butchery products to the community, the Lecky’s
VG was the first convenience supermarket in the area that incorporated an in-store
butchery counter, which today is managed by Jonathan Lecky, Victor’s son, in what is
now VIVOXTRA Castlederg.

The team of six, headed up by Jonathan, prides itself in serving new products and
recipes that meet the demands of the local shopper’s modern and busy lifestyle.

Jonathan commented; “Everyday we ensure there is a fantastic display of top quality
products carefully selected and prepared by our in-store team. We operate a butchery
facility providing shoppers with prime cuts of meat as well as offering an extensive range
of prepacked meats available in the chiller, ready for you to take home and enjoy’’.
