It stands for Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time-Based,
is an effective process for setting and achieving your business goals.

Specific: I will open a cafe with a and create more networks. Finally, I will
open my own cafe and hire more baristas

ZIG ZIGLAR GOAL
SETTING

First of all, in Zig Ziglar goal setting we need to

Identify the goals. So my goal is to open a cafe

that focus on speciality coffee within 3 years.

What is in it for me? I always admire a coffee

industry since I was 15 years old. Since coffee
industry in Malaysia is still quite slow compared to
Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand but still it does
not stop me to achieved my dream to educate
people in Malaysia the real, sweet and rich tastes in
coffee.

Everything big must comes with obstacles. So in

my case, the obstacles is i am still a student. So i
dont have a good time to work as baristas or focus
on learning about coffees.

But it's not the main reason, I think the main is
because coffee industry in Malaysia is quite slow
and small so it is hard to attract more people to love
coffees.

Knowledge and skills give us the power to

accomplish and take advantage to achieve our
dreams. So in order to achieve my dream, i need to
gain more knowledge about coffees industry and
F&B so that I can manage a cafe. Also i need skills
to make coffee.

Then, I need to Identify a group of people to work
with. So, I need my friends who's working as baristas
makingto teach me. After that, I can focus on
some plans to achieve my goal. My plan is to finish

my study then I will focus to gain my experience as a
barista. After that within 3-5 years I will open a
coffee shop in Kuala Lumpur and Johor Bahru.

Set a deadline for achievement is important. So my
target is within 3-5 years I will open a coffee shop.
