The Azure Wave resort in Aruba was designed as a tropical paradise. The initial concept was to create
a greenhouse atrium on the top level of a gently waving building. The final design integrated green
roofs, hanging planters, and a lush courtyard while maintaining the signature wave roof as a focal
entry tower.

This quaint restaurant in Williamston, Michigan
was designed to balanced between big-city
cuisine and a small town atmosphere.

ASL developed the original architectural
concept (along with seeing multiple stores
through construction) for the Tony Sacco's
franchise of coal oven pizza restaurants.



ASL has worked with many international brands to extend their presence across the globe. We
understand the delicate balance between the adaptation that is neccesary to accomodate
unique project situations, while also maintaining a brand’s integrity and design standard.

As the most comprehensive proposal ASL has done to date,
the response to LAX included the design of over 20 spaces.

ASL developed concepts for a premium duty free liquor
store, a luxury watch boutique, and Moet Hennessy’s first
US location in addition to adapting the designs to the other
terminal locations. To round out the project, ASL also did
preliminary layouts for Salvatore Ferragamo, Burberry,
Bulgari, Coach, Armani, Mont Blanc, Kiehl’s, Victoria’s
Secret, and The Body Shop. ASL developed renderings and
plans for each space, and, when invited to present, also
created a complete 3d walkthrough of the new interna-
tional terminal spaces.

ASL worked to develop the architectural and graphic compo-

are intended to provide temporary lodging for travelers who are
delayed or on a long layover.
