User Account Registration
1. Access to CIMIC & RegistrationUsers access the CIMIC website and click Enter to access the system. 2.1 Module : User Account RegistrationUsers are required to complete the registration form by filling in the company and contact information provided.User Manual CIDB Imported Material Inspection and ComplianceSteps: 1. Fill in the Company Name, Address, Postcode, City, State, Country, Official Company Email, Phone Number and Fax Number.2. User continue to provide details for Contact Person 1, including Contact Name, Contact Position, Contact Email, Contact Phone.3. If applicable, details for Contact Person 2 must also be completed with the same required information4. 2.2 Module : User Account RegistrationUsers are required to complete the Personal InformationUser Manual CIDB Imported Material Inspection and ComplianceSteps: 1. Fill in the full name and work email address. 2. Users must then create a password in accordance with the specified security requirements, which include a minimum of eight (8) characters comprising letters, numbers, and special characters.3. The password must be re-entered in the Confirm Password field to ensure accuracy. Before submitting the form, users are required to confirm that they are authorized to register the company and designate the provided email address as the official point of contact. 4. Users must also acknowledge and consent to the processing of their personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA). 5. 2.3 Module : Receive OTP Code Through Registered EmailThe applicant will receive a six (6)-digit One-Time Password (OTP) via emailUser Manual CIDB Imported Material Inspection and ComplianceSteps: 1. Module : Start CIMIC Application3.1 Log inThis page allows registered users to log in and begin their application process and ensure applicant have a valid username/email and password before proceeding.User Manual CIDB Imported Material Inspection and ComplianceSteps: 1. Enter registered email address/username in the field provided.2. Enter the password3. Tick the Remember Me checkbox if applicant needs to remember the login details for future access.4. Click the profile icon at the top right of the page.2. Select My Profile to view or update profile information.Steps: 1. Update the required personal information fields and click Update Profile to save changes.2. Enter the current password, set a new password, and confirm the new password.3. Click Start New Application to begin a new application.2. Verify the pre-filled Certificate Holder Information retrieved from the CIMIC account registration.3. 5.1 Module : CIMIC Application This section is used to capture the physical factory or manufacturer details where the on-site inspection will be conducted. If the factory address is the same as the certificate holder’s address, the information can be auto-filledUser Manual CIDB Imported Material Inspection and ComplianceSteps: 1. Review the Factory/Manufacturer Details.2. Select Factory address is the same as company address to auto-fill the address, if applicable.3. If not applicable, enter the factory Company Name and Address details and other information. 4. Complete the Contact Person information for the factory.5. Click Save Draft to save progress or Next to proceed to the next step.Note: Selecting Save Draft will save the application progress and return the user to the dashboard. 5.2 Module : CIMIC Application (Draft Application)Draft applications can be accessed and continued from the dashboardUser Manual CIDB Imported Material Inspection and ComplianceSteps: 1. From the Dashboard, click the Requires Your Action tab.2. The system will display a list of all draft applications.3. Select the relevant application and click Continue Application to resume.Steps: 1. Ensure all required fields are completed.2. 5.3 Module : CIMIC Application This section is used to record details of existing product certifications.User Manual CIDB Imported Material Inspection and ComplianceSteps:1. Review the Certificates Information section.2. Click Add Certificate to add a new certificate record. Steps:1. Click the Certification Body dropdown list and select the relevant Certification Body from the available list. (Note: A total of 14 Certification Bodies are available for selection)2. Upon selection, verify that the Certification Body details are auto-filled.3. Enter the Accreditation Number.4. 5.4 Module : CIMIC Application This section is used to record details of existing product certifications.User Manual CIDB Imported Material Inspection and ComplianceSteps:1. Upload the Certificate (PDF) file (maximum file size: 2MB).2. Select the certificate type (Product Certificate License or API Monogram Certificate).3. Enter the Serial Number of License Number, as applicable.4. Provide the First Cert Date, Issue Date and Valid Until. 5. Ensure the certificate has at least three (3) months validity at the time of submission.6. Click Save changes to confirm the certificate details. (Formerly known as CIDB E-Construct Services Sdn. 5.5 Module : CIMIC Application This section is used to record details of existing product certifications.User Manual CIDB Imported Material Inspection and ComplianceSteps:1. To add more certificate body information, click the (+) button to add.2. To view again the certificate body information, click the eye icon to view. 3. To edit/update the information, click the edit icon.4. To download the cert information, click the PDF icon to generate in PDF format. 5. 5.6 Module : CIMIC Application - Add Product CategoryThis section displays the list of available CIMIC product categories that can be included in the verification application.User Manual CIDB Imported Material Inspection and ComplianceSteps:1. Click the Product Category dropdown list.2. Select the relevant Product Category from the list provided. Ex: Aluminium3. Click the Save button to add the selected category. 4. Click the Product Category dropdown list if need to change the selected product category then click at Change button.5. 5.7 Module : CIMIC Application – Add Product InformationThis section captures detailed information of the product to be included in the verification application, including certification, product details, specifications, and supporting images. The Product Information page is displayed. 2. Click the Certificate dropdown list. The list displays the list of certificates that were previously added. 3. 5.9 Module : CIMIC Application – Add Product Sub CategoryThis dropdown displays a list of product sub-categories that are relevant to the selected product category.User Manual CIDB Imported Material Inspection and ComplianceSteps:1. Click the Product Sub-Category dropdown list. 2. The available Sub-Category must be related to the selected product, are displayed. 3. Select the appropriate Product Sub Category. 5.10 Module : CIMIC Application – Add Product StandardThis dropdown displays a list of applicable standards that comply with the selected product and product sub-category. The Product Standard are filtered based on the selected Product Sub Category.3. Select the Product Standard.4. 5.11 Module : CIMIC Application – Add More ProductThe Add Product button allows users to add another product under the same selected product category. 5.13 Module : CIMIC Application – Suggest to Inspection DatesThis section displays the suggested inspection start and end dates generated by the system. Navigate to the inspection start and end date section that are pre-filled by the system. 2. If require to change the date, click the Calendar icon to change the start and end date. 3. Ensure that the selected date range cover a minimum of 3 days and are at least 3 weeks from the submission date. 4. Click Next button to proceed with the next process. 5.14 Module : CIMIC Application – Fee StructureThis section provides an estimated breakdown of fees based on the application details submitted, including the number of products, inspection duration, and applicable fee rules. 6 Module : CIMIC Application – Make PaymentThe Pending Payment section displays applications that have been approved and are awaiting payment. 6.1 Module : CIMIC Application – Make Payment and Joint TravelThe Pending Payment section displays applications that have been approved and are awaiting payment. 6.2 Module : CIMIC Application – Make PaymentThis page displays the Proforma Invoice generated for the approved application, including invoice details, fee breakdown, and total payable amount. 6.3 Module : CIMIC Application – Successful PaymentThis page confirms that the payment has been successfully processed and recorded in the system. 6.4 Module : CIMIC Application – Successful PaymentThis page confirms that the payment has been successfully processed and recorded in the system. 6.5 Module : CIMIC Application – Applicant DeclarationThis section requires the applicant to confirm that all information and supporting materials provided in the application are true, accurate, and complete. Read the Applicant Declaration statement carefully and tick the checkbox to confirm acceptance of the declaration.2. Click Submit to submit the Application and after the application is successfully submitted, it will be automatically redirected to the applicant’s dashboard.3. 6.6 Module : CIMIC Application – Application TrackingThe Application Tracking section allows applicants to monitor the progress of their submitted applications. Navigate to the Dashboard and locate the Requires Your Action panel. 2. Identify the application with the status Incomplete. 3. Click Fix & Resubmit in the Action Column. 7.1 Module : CIMIC Application – Incomplete Submission The Action Required message indicates that the application has been returned for correction due to incomplete or missing information. Combine ApplicationThe Combine Application function allows an applicant to request grouping of multiple applications into a single inspection arrangement.Applicants may request to combine applications for the same product / different products, from the same factory / different factories within the same country.This request is subject to review and approval by the authorized officer. Combining applications helps optimize inspection scheduling and travel arrangements.The applicant must first create at least three (3) separate applications. Once the minimum number is met, the system will prompt the applicant with the option to combine the applications.

In the Select Group to Join dropdown, the system will display the available application list. (Only eligible joint travel groups with payment success will appear in the dropdown list).3. After selecting the Joint Travel option and completing the required steps, the user must return to the dashboard to proceed with payment.7.4 Combine Application – Join an Existing Group(Formerly known as CIDB E-Construct Services Sdn. Proceed with Joint Travel This section allows the applicant to combine the current application with another application that has already been submitted and paid for under a Joint Travel group.If the applicant has previously completed payment for an earlier application, the current application can join the same travel group. By selecting “This is my final application in the joint travel group”, the system will mark the group as complete and allow all applications in the group to proceed to the next process after payment for the current application is made.
