Line

• An element of art defined by a point moving in space. Line may be
two-or three-dimensional, descriptive, implied, or abstract.

• Examples: Vertical lines, Horizontal lines, Diagonal lines, Zigzag lines,
and Curved lines

Shape

• An element of art that is two-dimensional, flat, or limited to height
and width.

• Example: a square that is drawn on a piece of paper is considered a
shape. Geometric shapes, Organic shapes, and Curvilinear shapes

Direction

• An element of art that utilize movement to create the visual illusion
of displacement.

• Example: Horizontal, Vertical, and Diagonal.

Size

• An element of art which determines how big or small something is. Its
the physical dimensions of an object in design. Size can function, and
size can attract or organize

Texture

• An element of art that refers to the way things feel, or look as if they
might feel if touched.

• Examples: Rough, smooth, silky, shiny, fuzzy and so on.

Color

• An element of art made up of three properties: hue, value, and
intensity.

• Define: Hue is the name of the color, for example, red or green, blue
