A HEALTHY DECISION: BIOMETRIC SCREENING
All Do it Best team members and eligible spouses
on our healthcare plans can now sign up for free
biometric screening and health risk assessments.
While participation is voluntary, there are big
benefits to completing them. Most importantly,
you’ll receive a personalized assessment of your
overall health that may identify hidden risk factors,
like high blood pressure or cholesterol, that you
can address with your family doctor. Then, as part
of our Consumer Directed Plan (CDP), you’ll earn
an additional company contribution to your health
savings account (HSA), or if you select the Preferred
Provider Option (PPO), you’ll receive a reduction
in your weekly premium. All together, that means
better visibility to your health risk factors and more
money in your pocket.
Onsite biometric screening begins in August in Fort Wayne and September in the warehouses.
The process to sign up for biometric screening and complete your health risk assessment is easier than ever.

RAISING FUNDS
FOR RELAY FOR LIFE
Team Woodburn came together to raise a
record $50,000 for their local Relay for Life
in just four hours on June 25. The annual
sale of warehouse overstock wouldn't
have been possible without the dozens
of team members and their spouses who
stayed over to set it up the night before
and assist where needed during the event.
The money raised in this event will go
toward support services to those affected
by cancer.

FOCUS ON HEALTH: CHILDREN'S EYE
HEALTH AND SAFETY MONTH
It’s important for all children to have their vision checked at least
once between ages 3 and 5. Even if children don’t show signs
of vision issues, it’s still important for a doctor to screen for
preventable eye health issues like Amblyopia or Strabismus.
Remember that our insurance includes vision coverage for eligible
dependents. This pays for 50% of an annual eye exam, as well as up
to $250 for glasses or contacts.
