Fort Wayne, IN 46802
For your convenience, the Electric Works campus features three
parking areas:
Lot A, located on Swinney Avenue between Broadway
and College
Lot B, the parking garage, located on the north side of the

AROUND
ACCESSING THE PARKING GARAGE
If you’ve selected paid parking during benefits enrollment, you’ll receive a pass
that provides you access to the parking garage at any time. Use this badge
to access the parking garage and to unlock the door to our building.
MISPLACED YOUR PARKING PASS?
Don’t worry. If you’ve selected paid parking, you’ll still be able to access
the parking garage by pulling a ticket from the entry machine. Once
you’ve found a parking space, immediately contact the parking manager
for validation assistance.

For additional information on security in the parking garage, see page 18.
ACCESSING BUILDING 26
Use the staff entrance on the northeast side of the building, as shown
on page 4. The doors to the staff entrance will remain unlocked during
normal business hours (weekdays from 7 am to 5:30 pm). If you are
entering the building outside of these times, you must have your parking
pass to unlock the building and your staff ID to enter.
If you didn’t select paid parking during benefits enrollment, you’ll still
receive a pass to access the building; however, if you use the parking on
campus, you’ll pay the hourly or daily rates.
You must have your ID badge to enter the building. Scan your ID badge
as you walk past our security station just inside the staff entrance. Then,
take the staff elevator to your floor. If you’re using one of the public
elevator banks, you must scan your ID to access one of our floors.

02 PARKING
All team members are welcome to park in the covered Electric
Works parking garage. Access to the parking garage is easy with the
parking pass or RFID sticker on the back of your staff ID badges.
All team members can select a monthly $15 payroll deduction
for parking as part of our benefits open enrollment under
Commuter Benefits in myADP.
Your parking pass gives you access to the parking garage
at any time, even on evenings and weekends, allowing
you to enjoy the campus outside of normal business hours.
550 parking spots are available for our team and visitors.
Parking spaces are not guaranteed outside of normal
business hours.
Beginning January 5, 2023, the $15 monthly
parking fee will be automatically deducted
from your paycheck if you’ve opted in for
parking during our annual benefits enrollment.
ADA PARKING
ADA accessible parking spots are reserved on multiple floors
of the parking garage in close proximity to the elevators.
These spots provide the best access for our team to easily get
to Building 26. Reserved spaces are clearly marked in Lots A,
the parking garage, and C.
6
BICYCLE PARKING
Bicycle racks are located throughout campus, as well as on the first
floor of the parking garage.
VISITOR PARKING
There are 10 marked visitor parking spots in Lot A and 10 additional
marked spaces in the parking garage. These spots allow visitors to
park for free for up to 2 hours. Visitors should pull a ticket and bring it
into the Building 26 lobby where the receptionist will validate it if it’s
over 2 hours.
ELECTRIC CHARGING STATIONS
Fourteen electric charging stations will be available in the parking
garage in early 2023. These spaces are available on a first come, first
serve basis and are open to the public.

ID BADGES
Staff ID badges need to be worn and visible (below shoulders and
above waist) at all times inside Building 26. You should use the
company-provided badge reel or lanyard to display your ID badge.
Additional lanyards/reels are available in HR.
DO DON’T
Left your badge at home?
Check in at our security station just inside the staff entrance. You
will be issued a temporary badge so you can access the elevators.
Misplaced or lost your badge?
The second day you are without your badge, it’s considered lost.
Contact our HR administrative assistant to receive a new badge
and parking pass. A $20 replacement fee will be payroll deducted.
Visitor badges
Guests should enter Building 26 through our front lobby.
There, they will sign in and receive a visitor badge and wear it
visibly during their time in Building 26. Guests must always be
accompanied by a team member. Visitor badges do not provide
access to the public elevator banks in our building.
12
ELEVATORS
Going up? The staff elevator is just inside the entrance to our building.
This is for the exclusive use of Do it Best team members and stops only
on our floors, including the Lower Level (LL, 1, 3, 4, and 5).
There are two additional elevator banks on the south side of the
building, on the east and west ends. These elevators service all floors
of the building. If you’re headed to other Do it Best areas, you’ll need to
scan your badge for access to those floors.
The right side elevator in the eastern bank will take you to the rooftop
deck where you can eat lunch or host a meeting.
TIP: During normal business hours, the rooftop
deck is likely readily available. However, in off
hours, check with our Executive Assistant to
confirm that the space isn’t booked for an event
or another meeting.
ON-SITE VENDING: THE MARKETPLACE
Located on the first floor of Building 26 by the staff entrance and
elevator, The Marketplace offers a wide variety of fresh self-serve
food options presented on open shelves, coolers, and freezers. A self-
checkout station allows you to scan your items and pay by credit card.
Additional self-serve, cashless snack stations are available in the break
areas on each floor.
13
RESTROOMS
Two sets of restrooms are located on the east and west ends of
floors 3, 4, and 5. One set of restrooms is located on the first floor
near the staff elevator.
Outside of the restrooms there are bottle fill stations and water fountains.
COFFEE
Bring your favorite mug and enjoy a bean to press style coffee or
espresso, provided free of charge by Do it Best. The user-friendly
touch screen menu guides you to select your coffee, espresso,
hot chocolate, chai tea, hot water, or other beverage. In about
one minute, you can enjoy your beverage from one of two coffee
machines just outside the break areas on floors 3, 4, and 5.
BREAK AREAS
Take a break in one of our three central break areas on floors 3, 4, and
5. Here you’ll find refrigerators, a freezer, a microwave, and self-service
snacks where you scan your items and pay with a credit card.
MAIL PICK UP
You’ve got mail. You have
an assigned mailbox in
the supply and mailroom
nearest your workstation.
Mail is delivered and
picked up daily.
If you’re receiving a
package, you will be
notified by email to pick it
up from the mailroom on
the first floor.
14
OUTGOING MAIL
There will be an outgoing mailbox in each supply and mailroom. This
can be used for business and pre-paid personal mail. All mail placed
in these boxes goes out the next business day.
All packages should be taken to Print and Mail Services on the Lower
Level. Personal packages can also be dropped off for carrier pick up
as long as they have the appropriate postage or shipping labels.
MEETING ROOMS
Our space at Electric Works is designed to tear down walls and
increase collaboration. Meeting rooms and collaborative spaces are
available on floors 1, 3, 4, and 5. Meeting rooms should be booked
through your Google calendar.
DON WOLF CONFERENCE CENTER
AND ROOFTOP DECK ACCESS
Contact Executive Assistant Carolyn Ransbottom at ext. 5565
to reserve these meeting spaces.
CATERING
Catering on campus is conveniently coordinated onsite with campus
vendors whenever possible. You can review the catering menus on
Workbench. Complete their online catering form with details at least
one week prior to your event. They will work with you to determine
the right solution and coordinate the delivery and set up.
EMPLOYEE ORDERS
We will continue to offer this great benefit to our team. Watch for
more details after our move.
15
04
Our work space places a greater emphasis on wellness, opening up
sightlines and views so that natural daylight streams throughout the
building, helping boost our physical, mental, and social well being. The
openness of our space provides a fresh, appealing visual for our team
and our guests. In addition to your workstation, you’ll also be assigned
a locker with a shelf and coat/purse hooks.
Before you bring all of your personal items to Electric Works, it’s important
to wait a couple weeks to adjust to your new workstation. Our space has
been carefully designed to be warm and welcoming and foster productivity.
Take some time to acclimate before you start making it your own.
INDIVIDUAL WORKSPACES
When it’s time to start thinking about your personal items, here are a
few guidelines to enhance our space and minimize clutter:
Personalizing your workspace
Team members are encouraged to bring a framed photo
and career mementos.
The glass dividers wrapping each workstation need to remain free
of paper and tape (including post-it notes, stickers, or other décor).
Nothing should be mounted to computer screens (hoods or
shade panels) or appear higher than the cube panels.
Floor space needs to be kept clean and free of trip hazards.
No personal plants.
Maintaining your workspace
Keep your surface neat and tidy and free of visual clutter.
Coats should be hung in designated lockers.
Personal items should be stored in lockers or desk cabinets
that can be locked.

WORKSPACES
COLLABORATIVE WORKSPACES
Our space at Electric Works is built to increase collaboration. We’ve
taken special care to ensure our space is designed to reduce
distractions while allowing collaboration to flow more freely. You can
help your teammates by being courteous.
Consider these tips:
There’s no need to whisper, but do be aware of the volume of
your voice when taking phone calls and working through
projects at your desk.
There are numerous phone rooms on each floor for
speakerphone use, lengthy or private conversations, and
interactive webinars.
Break areas and collaborative workspaces are designed for
impromptu or small group conversations and meetings.
17
05 CAMPUS
Electric Works is committed to providing a safe campus environment.
Here are steps the property management company and Do it Best are
taking to ensure we are able to live, work, and play safely.
PARKING GARAGE
Should there be an accident of any kind in the parking garage,
notify the parking garage facilities manager at 317-820-9032.
BUILDING 26 SECURITY
During normal business hours, the doors to our building are
unlocked and monitored by building security. You are required
to have your staff ID to gain access to our office spaces, and
you are expected to wear your badge at all times inside the
building. See page 12 for examples of how your badge should
be worn.
All guests must enter through the main building entrance off
Dynamo Alley. Visitors must be granted access to enter our
lobby by the front desk receptionist.

SECURITY
CAMPUS
Electric Works has an integrated security program in place managed
by Carr Workplaces and staffed by Securitas Inc. It’s supported by
local resources like the Fort Wayne Police Department.
Security guards are in place on the Electric Works campus 24/7, with
one officer roving the campus while a second officer is located in the
Security Command Center. More security will be present as needed,
especially during campus events.
The Security Command Center is located in Building 19, which will
serve as the operations hub for all security technology.
If you have a concern, you can report it
to campus security at 260-299-3413.
If campus security is contacted by telephone, Code Blue button, panic
alarm, or other means, they are trained and prepared to address the
situation immediately.
Code Blue towers are strategically located around campus. They have
a call button to push that immediately connects you with the campus
security team.
