Meet Monit Bansal, the youngest social worker in

district Bathinda.

The young social worker Monit live in the street of
the temple of Rampura. At the age of 8, Monit
Bansal devoted all his attention towards the
services for the needy and started social work after
school. Monit began collecting money to distribute
ration and food to the poor. He distributed books
and shoes to poor children in slums. At such an age,
when children are busy watching video games and

Guru Tegh Bahadur Ludhiana Isolation Center opened
in Rishi Nagar, Ludhiana.

The first center isolation center, called Guru
Tegh Bahadur Ludhiana Isolation Center, was
opened at the Swami Vivekananda Divyang
Sewa Kendra (Bharat Vikas Parishad) at Rishi
Nagar, Ludhiana on 19th May by the COVID
Response Team. Sardar Gurdarshan Singh Ji
said that the patients who are facing problems
due to lack of space in the hospitals, costly
treatment or lack of proper isolation in the patients' homes, shall get health
benefits in this center.

Retired Civil Surgeon Dr. Jain is in charge of this center. There are two
separate wards for women and men at the centre. There will be full
cooperation from the administration. To overcome the pandemic, the whole
society, government, administration, all the voluntary organizations, are
united and contributing towards this initiative. In a city like Ludhiana,
people come from far and wide to get treatment. But in view of the lack of
medical facilities in the time of this pandemic, the need for the construction
of this center was felt. Doctors, medical staff, cleaning staff will be available
here 24 hours. Essential medicines and essential health resources that the
patients need are all available here. Eating arrangements are also available
for all patients. A team of volunteers will be available for supply when
required.

A message of gratitude from the resident who assisted
in the Corona pandemic.

The Covid-19 pandemic has led to numerous difficulties in the lives of many.
While some people are unable to find medicines, some are facing the
shortage of oxygen. The pandemic has left the healthcare system of our
country utterly helpless due to the constantly increasing fatalities. Amidst
such troublesome times, people coming forward to help fellow citizens are
acting as a huge source of relief. People of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh
(RSS) have been working day and night to help those affected by the deadly
virus. A resident of Manimajra, Chandigarh named Rishab said, "There are
many other households like mine, where all members of the family are
infected with the virus. Under such circumstances, it is very difficult for the
families to arrange for food. Taking due note of the situation, members of
RSS have activated a helpline number through which they are providing
food, medicines and other essential items to the families in need. I would like
to thank Rajiv Sir and his fellow members for working day and night and
take this responsibility upon themselves with such dedication. They have
done complete justice to their goal which says 'Jahan Kam, Wahan Hum'. No
amount of gratitude expressed will be enough for the work done by you."
Keeping in mind these words by Mr. Rishab, we hope that members of RSS
and all other capable citizens continue to help people and not lose hope.
