Lila and Mary are bestfriends.
Their houses are opposite to
each other. On the weekend,
Lila will visit Mary's house to
play together.
4
5
One day, while they were playing in
Mary's bedroom, a strong wind
blew through a window.
6
"Uh-oh, look at your hair! It is all messy!"
said Mary. "Your hair too, you look like a
lion!". They both laughed at Lila's joke.
7
8
Mary then stood up and said, "Wait, I'm going
to look for my hairbrush in the bathroom".
Mary scratched her head for a few times
before going to the bathroom.
9
While Mary was brushing her hair
in front of a mirror, Lila came to
her to borrow the hairbrush.
"Mary, do you mind if I use your
hairbrush next?", asked Lila.
"Of course, Lila. I'm almost
done!", said Mary.
10
11
"I'm done, here it is," Mary
said as she handed the
hairbrush to Lila.
"Thank you,
Mary". Lila took
the hairbrush and
started brushing her
messy hair. After that,
Lila and Mary continue to play.
12
13
Four weeks later, while Lila was
sleeping, she felt something was
moving on her head.
It made her uncomfortable and
she had trouble sleeping.
14
15
16
Lila's mommy noticed that Lila often scratched
her head. While she was sleeping, showering, playing
and eating. Scratch! Scratch! Scratch!
"Lila, can you tell me what is wrong? Why do you
keep scratching your head?", asked Mommy.
17
"I dont know, Mommy. My
head feels so itchy all the
time, so I scratched it to
make it feel better."
"I always see Mary
scratched her head
too when we were
playing together."
18
"Hmmm, this sounds familiar."
Mommy thought.
19
Mommy then took a hair comb and
carefully combed through Lila's hair
only to find,

She right away put them in
