A girl of 20 years old, a girl of dreams, a girl of goals, that’s who I am. I’m a person that believes
that dreams and goals are what we live for, facing obstructions and handling them are
suspension of life and what we love is the fuel that keeps us moving toward our dreams. For
me, life is like a path that takes a long journey. A path that has splinters and nails, a path that
sometimes is so dark that we don’t know where we’re heading to, but at the end of that path
there’s a light that we all are heading to. At that path I meet people on my way, some may
leave remarkable things and touches on me and some maybe will leave scars.
I don’t want to be an ordinary girl but I want to be an extraordinary people. Simply, I want to
be one of a kind because I know there is something that makes me different from others. I
have a big dream and I was the perfect description of the little girl that wanted everything. I
wanted to be a princess who was rescued by my prince charming, the one that wanted to live
in a ginormous castle with hundreds of maids and I admit that I was the little girl with a big
dream. As I grew up, I’m out of those fancies, pushed them all to some place in the back of
my mind. Currently, that little girl with her big dream has grown up to 20 years old now and
she is a degree student at UiTM City Campus.
I am a Bachelor student of Human Resource Management and I will finish my studies at my
age of 22. I plan to get a job after I have finished my studies as a Human Resource Executive.
Outside of my job, I plan to buy a large home, have my own car and have a husband and can
start a new family.
As you can see, I have big plans for my future. I plan to make something of myself, and not to
give up. My parents expect a lot out of me. My dreams are what keep me going, they are an
object for me to strive for. I will obtain that object one day. I just want to say a big thank you
to my lovely parents because I can confidently say that I would not be where I am today
without the motivations and helps from them. They are the biggest supporters and shaping
me into the individual I am today. Thank you so much mama and ayah! Love both of you so
much. Last but not least, I hope those dreams will be achieve by myself successfully one day!
There are many goals that I want to achieve. Firstly, I want to be a confident person so that I
can expose myself to anyone confidently. Next is I want to be a rich person so I can help others
and the last one is my main goal which is I want to get an excellent result on my final
examination. This is because I want to graduate on time.
I have set a few dates when I have to reach my goals at least before I get into marriage
because at that time suppose I have already achieved all the goals. Next, when during my
studies in bachelor programme about 3 years I hope that I could achieve those goals. The last
one which is my main date which is at my age of 22 because it’s the time that I finished my
studies.
So, basically there are some obstacles that I have to face during studies and before I finish my
studies. Firstly, about time management. I have to manage my time for study so that all my
assignments that have been given by my lecturer is going smoothly. Next, not to be too lazy
and preoccupied which bring a lot of disadvantages to myself. The last main obstacle which is
about my pointer for the first semester. I didn’t get dean’s list for my first semester which
breaks my heart a lot. So, now I have to change my style of studies which is from study hard
to study smart because I believe that study smart is more efficient rather than study hard. I
hope and I believe on myself that I could facing all these obstacles by power of myself to
accomplish all these and of course also need support from others.
Besides that, the truth is I have a group of people that I need to work with. First, of course my
friends because they are always with me when I need. We study together and having Q&A
questions about the questions that we don’t understand. We will cooperate and give the most
commitment also work in a team. Other than that, our lectures that give the most notes and
support and of course my parents. This greatest people that can help me to achieve my goals.
I really confident that my goal is realistically and I can achieve it Insha’Allah and these all
depends too on the power of our god.
Then, there are some types of skills that I needed to achieve my goals. First, I have to develop
my public speaking. I have to be a confident person and developing my leadership traits. I
have to solve the problem solving too.
Next, what’s in it for me? I make sure this goal will give me many benefits at all. This is
because I could motivate myself when I have this goal in my mind. It’s really inspiring me to
success more in a future.
My plan is
JULY 2019 Semester 2 Achieve 3.6
SEPT 2019- JAN 2020 Semester 3 Achieve 3.7
MARCH 2020- JULY 2020 Semester 4 Achieve 3.8

7 STEPS ON HOW TO ACHIEVE DREAMS
STEP 1: DREAM IT
Everything begins in the heart and mind. Every great achievement began in the mind of one
person. They dared to dream, to believe that it was possible. Take some time to allow yourself
to ask “What if?” Think big. Don’t let negative thinking discourage you. You want to be a
“dreamer.” Dream of the possibilities for yourself, your family and for others. If you had a
dream that you let grow cold, re-ignite the dream! Fan the flames. Life is too short to let it go.
STEP 2: BELIEVE IT
Yes, your dream needs to be big. It needs to be something that is seemingly beyond your
capabilities. But it also must be believable. You must be able to say that if certain things take
place, if others help, if you work hard enough, though it is a big dream, it can still be done.
STEP 3: SEE IT
The great achievers have a habit. They “see” things. They picture themselves walking around
their CEO office in their new $25 million corporate headquarters, even while they are sitting
on a folding chair in their garage “headquarters.” Great free-throw shooters in the NBA
picture the ball going through the basket. PGA golfers picture the ball going straight down the
fairway. World-class speakers picture themselves speaking with energy and emotion. All of
this groom the mind to control the body to carry out the dream.
STEP 4: TELL IT
One reason many dreams never go anywhere is because the dreamer keeps it all to himself.
It is a quiet dream that only lives inside of his mind. The one who wants to achieve their
dream must tell that dream to many people. One reason: As we continually say it, we begin
to believe it more and more. If we are talking about it then it must be possible. Another
reason: It holds us accountable. When we have told others, it spurs us on to actually doing it
so we don’t look foolish.
STEP 5: PLAN IT
Every dream must take the form of a plan. The old saying that you “get what you plan for” is
so true. Your dream won’t just happen. You need to sit down, on a regular basis, and plan out
your strategy for achieving the dream. Think through all of the details. Break the whole plan
down into small, workable parts. Then set a time frame for accomplishing each task on your
“dream plan.”
STEP 6: WORK IT
Boy, wouldn’t life be grand if we could quit before this one! Unfortunately, the successful are
usually the hardest workers. While the rest of the world is sitting on their sofas watching
reruns of Gilligan’s Island, achievers are working on their goal—achieving their dream. I have
an equation that I work with: Your short-term tasks, multiplied by time, equal your long-term
accomplishments. If you work on it each day, eventually you will achieve your dream. War
and Peace was written, in longhand, page by page.
STEP 7: ENJOY IT
When you have reached your goal and you are living your dream, be sure to enjoy it. In fact,
enjoy the trip, too. Give yourself some rewards along the way. Give yourself a huge reward
when you get there. Help others enjoy it. Be gracious and generous. Use your dream to better
others. Then go back to No. 1. And dream a little bigger this time!
QUOTES ON DREAMS
BELIEVE IN YOUR DREAMS, THEY WERE GIVEN TO YOU FOR A REASON.
FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS, BELIEVE IN YOURSELF AND DON’T GIVE UP.
DREAMS ARE NOT WHAT YOU CAN SEE IN YOUR SLEEP, DREAMS ARE THINGS WHICH DO NOT LET
YOU SLEEP.
THE BIGGEST ADVENTURE YOU CAN TAKE IS TO LIVE THE LIFE OF YOUR DREAMS.
