PATENT LITIGATION
We understand that patents are highly valuable assets. As an intellectual property boutique,

sive experience in enforcing, defending, and protecting patents and have served as trusted
litigation counsel to clients throughout the United States and the world. Our patent team has
appeared in various U.S. District Courts, the International Trade Commission, and the United
States Court of Federal Claims on patent issues. Kennedy Law routinely advises clients on
patent licensing issues, reviews patents to provide validity opinions, and represents both
plaintiffs and defendants in patent litigation.
TRADE SECRETS
The Uniform Trade Secrets Act defines a trade secret as “information, including a
formula, pattern, compilation, program, device, method, technique, or process; that
derives independent economic value, actual or potential, from not being generally
known to or readily ascertainable through appropriate means by other persons who
might obtain economic value from its disclosure or use; and is the subject of efforts
that are reasonable under the circumstances to maintain its secrecy.” The lawyers at
Kennedy Law know that a trade secret includes more than just the elements defined
above; it is your business, your contacts, your software code, your research, your en-
gineering, your methods and procedures that define your company and have made
you a success.
We understand that in trade secret law, there is much at risk. Our office routinely drafts
non-disclosure, non-compete, and non-solicitation agreements to protect your propri-
etary business information. We have successfully helped clients recover and restrict
their information from further disclosure and have represented defendants who have
been accused of trade secret misappropriation.

from a position of strength
