Select Event Group’s Infrastructure Division is an industry powerhouse located between the Baltimore
and D.C. markets. From events as large as the Preakness Stakes and Firefly Music Festival to local ga-
las, groundbreakings and weddings, our Infrastructure team provides all of the necessary equipment
and labor to build turnkey temporary infrastructure solutions, ensuring our clients’ event needs are met
with exceptional levels of quality and service. The division’s team of incredibly talented foremen, tech-
nicians and crew, well-versed in all of our structure, flooring, power and climate control products, along
with our sales and operations teams, make Select Event Group the clear regional leader in available
products and capabilities.

The Infrastructure Division is comprised of three operating units: Structure/Flooring Main, Signature
Services and Power & Climate Control. Each unit has separate dedicated staff, inventory and fleet of
vehicles. All three units work with division leadership to ensure the goals and objectives of the division
at large are met. The three units are the strategic result of an evolving book of business over the past
several years and are set up to allow Select to best serve the needs of the widest range of clients. Each
unit focuses on understanding their target book of business, building to the necessary capacity and
staying ahead of their growth goals in order to maximize our impact and reach within the Mid-Atlantic
region and beyond.

The Infrastructure Division’s Structure/Flooring team represents the majority of the division’s resourc-
es and revenue. While the team focuses on the large projects within our portfolio and the region, the
expansive book of business includes projects of all sizes and scope. The criteria used to determine
which projects to take on is based on resource availability and quality over quantity—do we have the
people and product to do the work and is the work worth doing given the risk or benefit it poses when
combined with all other active projects and tasks. The team has seen significant growth over the past
few years, partnering with strategic event organizers for events like the NFL Draft in 2017, the MLB All-
Star Game in 2018 as well as music festivals up and down the east coast and more.

Signature Services is a new venture as of 2018 and a strategic response to our evolving book of busi-
ness. Created specifically to solidify our presence in the local market and to ensure our ability to pro-
vide top quality and service to key clients at a competitive price point, the Signature Services Team
works closely with local caterers and planners—typical projects are weddings and other high-end
social events. This unit is operated by a three-person ops/sales team and a production crew of six in
the off-season, ramping up to as many as twelve in-season. The department is projected to carry 12%
of the division’s revenue in 2019.

Power and Climate Control operates with a staff of four total people in the off-season, six people
in-season and represents 8% of the Division’s revenue. Our inventory includes vertical and horizon-

tal air conditioning units from 5 ton to 30 ton, indirect-fired diesel heaters, generators from 5.5kw to

240kw and a wide variety of distribution accessories designed specifically to meet the needs of the

outdoor event world.

Simply put, Select Event Group’s Infrastructure Division is a dynamic, live-event oriented team, provid-
ing temporary infrastructure for special events. Over the past several years, we have seen continued
expansion of our client base and significant growth in the scope of our projects. Our team prides itself
on the ambition and drive, creativity, responsiveness and reliability of each member and an enthusiasm
around outdoor events.

THE COMPANY WE KEEP

In 2018, the Select Event Group team produced over 400 Infrastructure
and over 12,000 Equipment & Linen events.

This activity crossed all markets, industries and geographic requirements.
Following is a sample of some of the clients we serve:

2017 GREENBRIER CLASSIC

The Greenbrier Classic has been a part of
Select’s portfolio since 2016. The project employs
several of our VIP-ready products including tiered
seating for glass-walled, climate-controlled suites
surrounding the 18th green. These suites are con-
structed on scaffold floors, elevated over 20’ in height.
Due to a 70’ wide creek separating the 18th tee
from the 18th green, Select also constructs a
player bridge in the creek allowing officials and
players passage. In addition to the build on 18,
Select Event Group provides VIP Suites, concessions
and other hospitality setups throughout the course.

2017 PREAKNESS STAKES

The Preakness Stakes is one of Select Event Group’s
largest and most well-known projects. For the past
ten years, Select has been a key part of the team that
transforms Pimlico Race Course, in Baltimore, into the
event space that welcomes 100,000+ attendees each May.
As the races kick-off during event weekend, specta-
tors navigate Pimlico’s infield, transformed by Select’s
90,000+ square feet of temporary structures (over two
acres) and 140,000+ square feet of elevated and lay
down floors. The build averages ten crew members per
day for over two months and demands more than fifty
tractor trailer loads of equipment throughout the install.

2017 NFL DRAFT

The 2017 NFL Draft, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania was a
great opportunity for Select Event Group to demonstrate
the breadth and depth of our product line and crew capa-
bilities for one of the country’s largest and most renowned
event production firms, C3 Presents (a Live Nation company).
Taking place on and in front of the famous, Philadelphia Mu-
seum of Art steps, Select’s crews worked in a challenging
and heavily trafficked environment to construct temporary
infrastructure solutions for the event’s back of house, VIP
and Concession areas. With as many as forty employees on
the build at certain times, Select completed the project with
incredible feedback from C3 & Live Nation, and continues
to maintain a strong and fruitful relationship with them.
