Terry and Stevie Von Valentine were best friends. They lived in the same neighborhood. They would play on the swings with each other everyday.
But one day, Terry got some bad news. He had to leave because his family was moving to another city. They were so sad. They had to say there final goodbye. Bye :( Im sorry :(
Now Stevie Von Valentine had to do everything alone, without his best friend Terry. He had nobody to swing with.
Stevie didn't want to believe that Terry moved away. He believed that Terry would soon come back, even though he never will. He’ll be back!
Stevie was very upset about his best friend moving away. He started to yell. He was very upset at Terry’s parents. I hate Terry’s parents! UGH!!!
Even though Terry was sad about moving away from his friend, he loved his new house and learned to make new friends. He realized that everything happens for a reason. I miss Stevie…but atleast i will make new friends!
Stevie wanted tell Terry to come back. So he called Terry's parents. But when he called, they said he couldn't. Can you come No! I am back? sorry :(
Stevie was so heartbroken that he never wanted to do anything again and would stay in bed all day.
Stevie got a call from Terry, he said that Stevie needs to accept thats he is gone. Terry told Stevie that he will always make new friends. Hi Terry! Hi Stevie! We can always make new friends! I will always be in your memories
Stevie took Terry’s advice and went outside to make new friends, he had trouble at first but he finally met a friend named Cookie! The became best friends and Stevie will always remember Terry.
Authors Note We wrote this short book about 2 cats that are best friends, and one goes through the 5 stages of grief because his best friend moved away. Olivia and Sophie both really like cats. Lots of people have gone through grief, and Olivia and Sophie have both had friends move away. We wrote this to help other people going through grief. book
