REGISTRATION ENTITLEMENTS

Your registration fee includes admission to all sessions, tea breaks,
lunch, welcome reception and a set of conference kit.

It does NOT include the excursion or banquet, which are separate
ticketed events.

OPENING HOURS

The registration counter is located at the foyer outside the auditorium at

the Stephen Riady Centre.

The opening hours are:

Sunday, 9 Dec 3:00 pm – 6:00pm

Monday – Tuesday, 10 – 11 Dec 8:00 am – 3:00 pm

Wednesday, 12 Dec 8:30 am – 1:00 pm

Thursday, 13 Dec 9:00 am – 11:00 pm

BADGES & SECURITY

All participants will receive their badges upon registration. It is mandatory
that participants wear their badges at all times when at the conference venue.

COMPLIMENTARY BUS SERVICES

Complimentary shuttle bus service will be provided from the recommended
hotels to the conference venue at the National University of Singapore.
Priority will be given to those who have signed up for the bus service.

before settling down for a sumptuous Chinese dinner and be entertained by local cultural performances.

The banquet is a ticketed event and NOT included as part of the registrations fee

LEE KONG CHIAN NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM

Located at the National University of Singapore’s campus, the Lee Kong Chian Natural
Museum is a seven-storey green building providing 8,500 square metres of space and
home to over 560,000 catalogued lots and over a million specimens from throughout the
region.
Apart from the natural history collections, adorning the building and its surroundings are
landscaped areas simulating natural habitats of native plants as well as a phylogenetic
garden.

All AsBIC9 participants can collect a complimentary admission ticket to the museum and
are encouraged to visit it during their free time.
It is just a short walk from the Stephan Riady Centre and you can visit it during the
following date/time:

EXCURSION (A) – HERITAGE TOUR
Singapore’s ethnic diversity is apparent out on the streets.
From temples, mosques and churches that are found adjacent to one another,
to the diverse groups of people that roam it, the city is a kaleidoscope of
religions, languages and communities. And the perfect way to appreciate this?
Go on this heritage tour to discover the many threads in our cultural tapestry.

EXCURSION (B) – GARDENS BY THE BAY

A highlight of this 101-ha award-winning horticultural park is its two

conservatories, the Cloud Forest and the Flower Dome. The cool-moist

conservatory that is the Cloud Forest features a 35m-tall mountain covered in

plants such as orchids and also sports the world’s tallest indoor waterfall.

Meanwhile, the Flower Dome replicates a cool-dry climate and houses plants

from the Mediterranean region and also a Flower Field, where the displays

change regularly.
