Thanks to the efforts of the Rotary Club Guatemala Metropoli headed by its President, Mr. Jacobo Müller Paiz, a donation of 6,660 sachets of food supplement (Vitamin + Iron + Zinc) of Macrovital Ultra, for the treatment of our resident patients of Obras Sociales del Santo Hermano Pedro, which was delivered to the authorities of the Fraternity of Obras Sociales and the Direction of the Hospital, who thanked the humanitarian gesture of the Rotary Club, because the food delivered has a great impact on the prevention of malnutrition. The visit was used to visit the Homes of the Virgen del Socorro, the shelter Hno. Pedro and the Obras Sociales Hospital. We thank Grupo Terra and its brands Shell and Uno, for their commitment and enthusiasm in supporting Obras Sociales del Santo Hermano Pedro during the last four years, sponsoring and selling in all their gas stations the numbers of the "One Million Friends Raffle". Guillermo Monroy and its managers Zonia de Rosales, Rafael Majano and Carlos Escobar were recognized for their support. During the visit, Mr. Guillermo Monroy conveyed Grupo Terra's decision to continue its unrestricted support to the Raffle during 2023, for which Friar Jesús Gómez, Director of Obras Sociales, thanked him on behalf of the hundreds of thousands of poor, sick and abandoned Guatemalans who are cared for and healed by Obras Sociales. "LIONS CLUB MAKES DONATIONS TO OSSHP" The Lions Club Guatemala 63 in Alliance with Novoplast make the delivery and donation of 2550 masks to be used in the different homes of Obras Sociales del Santo Hermano Pedro.This donation is part of the corporate social responsibility of Novoplast, who will soon be visiting us to know in depth the health programs and homes of Obras. We are very thankful for this gesture.
"RECAUDATON 2022 TO BENEFIT OSSHP" As part of the fundraising projects, we started in 2021 with the RecaudatOn to benefit the Nutritional Recovery Center; this year, we propose again in conjunction with Obras Sociales del Santo Hermano Pedro, Guatemala 63 Lions Club, Guatemalan Volunteer Center and Amigos Pro Obras Sociales Association, with the support of Supermercados La Torre and some Shopping Centers, to carry out the Recaudaton 2022 to reach a goal of 75,000 pounds of various supplies. On Tuesday, November 30, one of the main prizes of the 1 Million Amigos Raffle was awarded to Mr. Andrés Weller with the winning number 280624, where he was accompanied by Isabel Molina Botrán - President and Mr. Michael Ascoli - Vice-president of the Amigos Pro Obras Association.
