PUBLIC OPEN HOUSE REGARDING HEALTH CARE VILLAGE

The public is invited to attend an Open House regarding the Health Care Village and CEEH Master Plan project on October
3, 2017 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at Victoria Hall. A presentation of information gathered for the project will be made at 7:00
p.m. The public is encouraged to engage in a discussion.

The Health Care Village would be a community health hub that is intended to be a multi-purpose and adaptable space
that is used by multiple providers to deliver a basket of services, including housing for seniors and affordable housing, that
are tailored and adapted over time to meet the changing needs of our community as we move into the future. “We have
an extraordinary opportunity to work alongside Bluewater Health, our doctors, and our healthcare service providers to
create a model for rural healthcare.” said Mayor John McCharles.

Recognizing that there will be broad changes to the community’s demographics and health-care needs, the Town of
Petrolia and Bluewater Health are working together to create a Health Care Village that offers collaboration between
different community agencies and service providers to respond to local needs in an efficient and sustainable way. This
includes appropriate housing and improved access to services and offers better outcomes for people by providing access
to early-intervention programs and circle of care services.

Plan to attend:

Date: October 3, 2017, Time: 6:30 – 8:30 p.m., Location: Victoria Hall, 411 Greenfield Street, Petrolia, Ontario

The Town of Petrolia is dedicated to providing our residents with a comprehensive range of health-care services and hospi-
tal facilities. Our commitment to our residents and to those in surrounding communities is to nurture our community’s
quality of life through the preservation of our heritage and careful planning for our future. Petrolia is a family-oriented, full
-service community that is proud to partner with Bluewater Health on this project.
