Introduction

Jesus to my Rescue Ministries & Outreach, trading as JTMR Ministries, is a fully registered
and tax exempted Christian non-profit company, providing community services to South
Africans, and while doing so, we spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world. The
company started on 7 August 2008 and became a fully registered non-profit company in
2012.

In the beginning, JTMR Ministries revolved around the website, www.jesustomyrescue.com,
which attracted thousands of users from around the world. The Lord worked through this
website as many lives were touched and changed through it. Today this very same website
reaches more than 30 000 people yearly, many accept Jesus into their lives through it and a
lot of prayer requests are send to us on a monthly basis.

Today Jesus to my Rescue is not just a website used by thousands of people, but also a
company that cares for the community, a company with a clear vision from God. We are
involved in various projects all over South Africa, reaching out to the poor, providing food to
the hungry and distributing clothes and toiletries to those in need.

Jesus to my Rescue has various ongoing projects where we are directly involved within the
community. The idea of these projects is to provide help to the community, especially from
the previously disadvantaged. Jesus to my Rescue is dedicated in working in the community
and with the community, with its main purpose to uplift those who have not had the
opportunities in the past, due to poverty.

We are directly involved with schools, churches, children homes and old aged homes by
means of providing food, training, basic education and assistance. There is only one
beneficiary to this company, which is the poor and only one that gets the glory, which is
God!

Training for Jesus

A project dedicated to the training and development of those who cannot afford it. We
want to make a difference by providing basic training, which will help the poor to get the
necessary skills to find a job and provide for their families.

Feeding the Hungry

A project to feed those who cannot afford to buy their own food, with a special focus on
children and the elderly. We have had many successful events where we handed out food to
the community, donated food and food parcels to poor families, children homes, old age
homes and safe houses.

Bible Drive

A project dedicated to distributing Bibles to those who don’t have or cannot afford to buy
one. Bibles are handed out during all our outreach projects.

TeenZone

A project dedicated in assisting our children in government schools and host talks at schools
about bullying, drug and alcohol abuse. We provide assistance in all aspects of life to the
children of South Africa, including counselling and food projects. We also focus on reaching
out to teenagers from all walks of life. We present special worship and training sessions to
various Churches and Children Homes.

JTMR for the Aged

The JTMR for the aged project focus on delivering a special care and prayer service to the
elderly, those living within an old age home as well as those that don’t. Where possible, we
provide them with food, clothes and toiletries.

We physically reach out to these communities and houses on a daily, weekly and monthly

who assist us in our daily tasks.

Jesus to my Rescue Vision Statement

Jesus to my Rescue Ministries & Outreach will strive to deliver a community service to the
poor through all our projects, while delivering support to various other NPO’s in South

those not being able to afford specialized studies through our Training for Jesus project.

Jesus to my Rescue will strive to setup an outreach centre called JTMR Outreach, Training &

specialized training to the poor, an outreach room with kitchen from where we will do our
project outreaches, a prayer room where we will assist people in prayer and where they will

receive counselling, a storeroom where we will distribute food and clothes from and a

Although our core functions will still be completed within South Africa, we feel that there is
a great need, specifically in the Middle East, and therefore plan to grow our relationship

with these communities. We also plan to expand this service to more countries in the years
to come. Jesus to my Rescue is dedicated in growing our work in the community and by

doing so, change the lives of thousands of people, not only in South Africa, but also globally.

We also have a team of volunteers in Cape Town and Pretoria.

For I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty, and you gave me
something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed
me, I was sick, and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ “Then the
righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and
give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing
clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ “The King
will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters

of mine, you did for me.’ Matt 25:35-40
