Automatic washing procedures after each juice
One of the main advantages of the Vitaminbar series is that they are
selfwashable. The following illustrations show the process in detail.
We activate the juicer by pressing the start-stop button (1) and after
we have reached its maximum speed of rotation, we activate the water
supply by pressing wash button (2) for 7‘‘-10’’.

Turn off the juicer by pressing the start-stop button (3).
Then, ONLY FOR FLOOR-LINE DEVICES activate the central canal wash by
pressing the wash front button (4) thus removing the last remnants of the
juicing (5, 6 & 7).

We remove the pusher (8 & 9).

We open the Corian lid (10) and gain access to the juicer compartment

products of the juice extraction, which may have adhered thereto (17,

Then, we remove the collector (20, 21) containing the cutting disc
(in gold color) embedded in the metal filter.

In the next step, we remove the bin with the bag in which we are collecting
the leftovers of the juice extraction. (22, 23, 24).

The parts of the juicer that are extracted from the base / motor are
thoroughly washed in the sink (25, 26, 28) or in a dishwasher. In the
first case, use the small brush delivered with the unit (27), paying great
attention to thorough clean the filter / cutting disc.

From the collector, we take care to remove the connection spout during
the wash (29, 30).

Remove the filler spout (31) from the front, exterior side and with the large
brush (32) clean the stainless steel transport pipe, making sure that it is
carefully cleaned along the length of the pipe until it is extruded οf the
machine (33).

Juicer assembling procedures
After mounting the connection spout, put the collector on top of the
motor (34), ensuring that it (the connection spout) firmly enters the
stainless steel transfer tube (35, 36, 37, 38).

Take the filter with the cutting disc (39) and gently slide it into the inlet
position of the collector (40) by rotating it until it finds the correct
position. Then we press it (41) and we hear a characteristic sound that
means it is the right position.

place the transparent lid back on with the feed tube (43) and secure it
by bringing the juicer metal lock back to a vertical position seeing (a) the
plastic ears entering the metal anchors and (b) the metallic lock being in
the plastic anchors in the transparent lid (44). Finally connect the water
supply pipe (45) to the socket on the metal feed pipe (46).

Daily maintenance is completed by placing the juicer bin container with
a new plastic bag (47, 48).

ATTENTION: The bin is placed in the waiting positions (49, 50) at an
angle which is zeroed in the vertical position after making sure that the
side of the bin to the juicer is inserted behind the pulp ejection lip (51).
Finish by closing the lid (52) and putting the pusher (53) in place.

In addition, for the best, safe, continuous and hygienic and flawless
operation of the device, we recommend that you regularly perform
general cleaning work.
Before proceeding with the cleaning procedures, follow the necessary
electrical isolation procedure of the device (see above on «electrical
safety» paragraph).
Clean the exterior and interior surfaces with soap or neutral detergent
(food grade) and water (a little vinegar added to the water will eliminate
any bad odors).

F.A.Q.
Malfunctions during operation may often be due to common
expected causes, which can be solved by the user without the
assistance of a qualified technician.
Therefore, before contacting the manufacturer’s service center
or their representative, check for the following:
The device does not start
Obvious causes / Actions:
- Make sure the plugs are properly plugged into the sockets.
- Check that there is voltage in the sockets.
The juicer does not operate
Obvious causes / Actions:
- Make sure the plugs are properly plugged into the sockets.
- Check that there is voltage in the sockets.
- Check if for some reason the thermal protection of the juicer
motor is activated. Press the button -p51- (14) on the juicer base
after removing it, as instructed, from its operating position.
- Plug the juicer into another socket.
- Make sure there is no weight on the scale in the front of the
device (only floor-line devices)
The internal temperature is too high
(concerns only floor-line devices)

- Check for a nearby heat source.

Safe Operating Instructions and Sanitary Requirements
Specifications
When starting or re-starting, wait for some time for it to reach
the pre-set refrigeration temperature of the windowcase
cabinet before placing the fruit and vegetables to be preserved
WARNING
(concerns only floor-line devices).
Do not forget to place a large durable waste bag into the
corresponding bins of the big refrigerated windowcases or
small polybag in the desktop-line devices.
Turn on the automatic washing of the juice distribution network
(concerns only floor-line devices).
Do not place hot liquids or drinks in the refrigerated cabin. There
is a health risk and a temporary degradation of the cooling
WARNING performance of the cabin (concerns only floor-line devices).
Ensure during the placement of fruit and vegetables in the
refrigerated cabin, or when refueling, that the device does not
WARNING block or interrupt the flow of cold stream from the refrigeration
unit. Always keep the cold air holes of the cabinet free (concerns
only floor-line devices).
Do not clean the area around the device while the cabinet is
open and the fruit/vegetables are exposed.
WARNING
Do not wash the device by spraying water with pressure at any
of its parts. There is a serious risk of electric shock and short
WARNING circuit.

Do not use inappropriate chemical or other toxic substances
(bleach, hydrochloric acid, caustic soda, etc.) to clean the
WARNING device or other equipment or the floor around it.
Do not place any object at the bottom of the device that contains
the electrical components, the cooling unit, the electrical panels,
ATTENTION the sensors, the three-way valve, etc. There is a serious risk of
electric shock, short circuit, damage and injury (concerns only
floor-line devices).
Protect the glass cover of the windowcase from bumbs. Do not
place heavy objects, especially sharp or metal objects, on the
ATTENTION upper glass surface of the windowcase (concerns only floor-line
devices).
Allocate the weight of fruit and vegetables evenly on the metal
base of the windowcase to avoid local deformations. Their total
ATTENTION weight should not exceed 10kg (concerns only for floor-line
devices).
Risk of glass breakage: Do not close or open the sliding doors
hastily and abruptly. Ensure full and waterproof door closure
WARNING (concerns only floor-line devices).
Never get your hands close to a rotating (internal juicer) or other
moving or power-operated parts of the device. Never push the
WARNING processed food with hands into the filler cabinet.
Never clean with bare hands
For the cleaning and maintenance of the stainless parts of the
device, follow the instructions below, always taking into account
that a fundamental requirement is to ensure excellent health
conditions of the food.

The stainless steel is required for use in contact with food and has a
thin oxide coating which prevents the formation of rust. However,
there are substances or cleaning materials that can destroy
this protective coating and cause its erosion. Before using any
cleaning material, ask the manufacturer or their representative to
inform you (and / or to supply you) regarding the acceptability
and suitability of the cleaning materials to be used.
If scratches are found on stainless steel surfaces, it is necessary
to polish them with a sponge, wiping slowly and gently in the
direction of the rolled lines.
To clean the stainless steel surfaces, never use common
sponge with steel fibers and never leave steel metal scraps on
WARNING the surfaces. Iron deposits could cause rust and compromise
food hygiene.
To ensure the proper operation of the refrigeration unit, it is
necessary to clean the condenser coolers and the evaporator
at least every 30 days. First, do not forget to isolate the device
ATTENTION
from the power supply (see above on «electrical safety»
paragraph).
Clean with a vacuum or brush with dry soft bristles.
Electrical safety
Before inspection or cleaning operation, the device should be
isolated from the power supply:
WARN ING - by pressing the corresponding button (stop), and
- by removing the plug(s) from the socket outlet(s).
Do not use sockets that are not properly grounded.
WARNING
Do not use cable extensions, plugs or adapters for the connection
to the power supply.
WARNING
Never connect the device to timers or remote-controlled
sockets.
WARN ING Always supervise the device while in use!

Do not moisten the device with water for cleaning purposes
(especially not a hose). There is a serious risk of electric shock
WARNING and / or serious electrical damage.
Note: The control circuit of the device (buttons) is supplied
with a safe voltage (12V SELV). The internal parts of the device
WARNING are supplied with main voltage (230V - 50Hz) and any kind of
operation on them is permitted only to licensed electricians.
In addition, to eliminate any risk or damage, the buttons are
covered with suitable waterproof housing.
Grounding and potential equalization
The device provides a connection to the grounding system of
the network via the plugs carrying cables.
The potential equalization of the metal parts of the device is
achieved with an adequate and sufficient electrical wiring.
The socket must provide a reliable and continuous ground
connection.
The continuity and grounding resistance has been tested by the
manufacturer.
No intervention or conversion is permitted to the grounding
circuit of the device.
WARNING
E/M Maintenance
The maintenance (electrical and mechanical parts) or required
repairs are carried out exclusively by qualified personnel.
The user is required to perform periodic external visual
inspection only to detect obvious indications, such as:
• Illegible hints or leaks warning signs (water, coolant, juice)
• Presence of vibration or abnormal noise
• Unsatisfactory cooling level
• Local temperature increase in the lower part of the device.
• Abnormal odors

• In case of any malfunction, disconnect the machine completely
(initially from the stop button and then from the plug), seek
technical advice from the manufacturer or their representative
and the use of authentic spare parts.
The cleaning, adjustment and maintenance of the refrigeration
unit (engine, compressor, etc.) requires the intervention of a
WARNING qualified technician and therefore can not be done by other
persons (concerns only floor-line devices).
Failure to comply with the above guidelines may compromise
your safety and set the device out of warranty.
WARNING
FEEDING TUBE
Never put fingers, wooden spoons or other foreign objects
(such as hair, clothes, brushes, cloths) in the feeding tube when
ATTENTION the device is plugged into the socket. Do not squeeze the
products into the sloping feeding tube with your fingers or other
foreign objects. Always use the food pusher provided with the
device. Always switch off the device, wait until the motor stops
operating and then pull the plug before opening the lid of the
juicer.
The blades inside the feeding tube are very sharp. Pay attention
when handling. Touch the inside of the power cord at the edges
WARNING and handle it carefully while cleaning with the small brush.
• Make sure the filter basket is clean before the device starts
operating.
• Do not leave dehydrated residues in the device or its components,
ATTENTION
as they can clog the filter pores, thus reducing the effectiveness
of the juicer.
• Never clean the plastic parts in the dishwasher.
• Always switch off the device and pull the plug when it is not in
use or when is disassembled, moved or cleaned.
• Never cover the ventilation system of the device. There is a
serious risk of fire or damage to the device.

• In case of damage of the device, a qualified freelance technician
or the technical support of the company should be contacted
immediately.
• Always unplug the device before cleaning it. Keep the power
cord away from hot surfaces.
• Do not use the device if the cord has been damaged.
• Do not leave the device unattended when there are children in
the area. This device should not be used by persons (including
children) with reduced sensory abilities or low mental ability
or lack of experience or knowledge. The use of the device by
these persons is strictly permitted under the supervision and
direction of a person responsible for their safety.
• Use the device only for the purpose it was designed for.
• To avoid electric shock, do not immerse the cord, plug or device
into water or other liquid.
• Do not use the device with a damaged cord or plug in any
malfunction.
• To prevent injuries, use only the spare parts recommended by
the manufacturer.
• Do not leave the cable hanging on sharp table edges or hot
surfaces.
• Do not place the device near gas hobs, electric ovens, electric
hobs.
WARRANTY
• Your device has a warranty of 2 years from the date of
purchase for mechanical parts. The warranty does not include
consumables and labor cost for the service.
• The warranty does not cover defects resulting from normal
wear, incorrect installation, handling or maintenance of the
product, improper operating conditions, non-implementation
of the instructions, misuse, modification or repair of the product
without the authorized reseller’s approval.

Long-term shutdown
In case of extended inactivity of the device and for better
maintenance, proceed as follows:
• empty the maintenance chamber and clean it as described in
the cleaning section,
• turn on automatic washing twice,
• the same goes for the juicer filter,
• unpluge the device (see above on «electrical safety» paragraph),
• leave the sliding doors open to avoid creating bad smell,
• stabilize and protect the device from dust and moisture.
Waste - trash disposal
In the event of pieces, parts or the whole device being
rejected, avoid placing components, materials, substances and
mechanisms.
In case of total rejection and to prevent injuries, remove the
sliding doors. The doors must be removed beforehand. Dispose
of special waste (electrical equipment, compressor, condenser,
coolant, engine, juicer, glass and metal parts) in accordance
with applicable environmental laws (eg. European Directive
2002/96 / EC on electronic and electrical equipment).
For safety reasons, disassembly of parts of the device should
be performed by qualified personnel with the necessary
ATTENTION equipment.
It is recommended, however, to deliver the device to qualified
and licensed waste collection, sorting and rejection agencies.
Contact the manufacturer or their representative for any
relevant information.
The compressor contains lubricating oil and refrigerant; as well
as the condenser which can not be rejected in the environment
ATTENTION or in the urban sewage system. They can of course be properly
recycled by authorized centers.

Before removing the device permanently for safety reasons,
remove the power cords to permanently deactivate it.
The improper disposal of electrical and electronic waste
and specific substances (refrigerants) is subject to penalties
WARNING under the relevant laws in the countries where the offense is
committed. Electrical and electronic equipment waste may
contain hazardous substances with potential harmful effects on
the environment and human health.
Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) of the refrigerant fluid

2) Determination of the risk
Overexposure through inhalation may cause anesthesia. Acute
overexposure may cause disorders of heart rate and sudden
death. Aerosols or sprays of the fluid may cause burns in the
eyes and skin.
3) First aid procedures
• Inhalation: keep the patient warm and relaxed, away from the
coolant. Use oxygen, if necessary. Provide CPR if breathing has
stopped or is about to stop. In case of cardiac arrest, perform
external cardiac massage. Seek immediate medical attention.
• Skin: use water to remove ice from the affected areas. Remove
wet clothing.
Clothes may cling to the skin in the event of ice burns. In case of
skin contact, wash with plenty of tepid water. If symptoms occur
ATTENTION (irritation or blisters) seek medical help.
• Eyes: Wash immediately with eye drops or clear water, keeping

the eyelashes open for at least 10 minutes. Seek medical help.
• Ingestion: may cause vomiting. If possible, rinse the mouth with
water and drink 200-300ml water. Seek medical help.
• Other treatments: when indicated, symptomatic supportive
treatment should necessarily be followed.
After exposure, do not issue adrenaline or other medicines
without medical advice. There is a risk of arrhythmia and possible
ATTENTION cardiac arrest.
4) Environmental data
Durability and degradability
• HFC 134a: almost rapid decomposition in lower atmosphere
(troposhere). Its duration in the atmosphere is 16 years.
• HFC 143a, 125, 134a: not contributed to photochemical smog (not
included in the components of the volatile organic compounds
as defined in UNECE Agreement United Nations Economic
Commission for Europe). Does not cause ozone rarefaction.
The gas phase is released to the atmosphere and does not cause
long-term water contamination.
