The Pittsburgh Steelers
originated in 1933. That is 85 years
ago. The Steelers have 6 Superbowl

wins. That is more than any other
team in the NFL. This year they

didn't get to play the Patriots and
lose They did not make the playoffs
this year. W ithin their franchise, they

have only had three coaches
throughout their entire franchise.
They also have been combined of two
teams. The Eagles and the Steelers
joined together and became
the  STEAGLES. This combination was
due to the war that they didn't have
enough people. They then combined
they were still able to keep the to
franchises moving. I t looks like they
will stay successful for a while. As th e
Steelers age, the team could change
their jerseys, name, or their location.

We just need to be patient.

Steelers History

T he Steelers f irst originated in 1933,
October 20. They then won their first super bowl
in 1975, in Louisiana. In 1976, a year later the
Steelers beat the Cowboys to win their second
Super Bowl. ( BACK TO BACK!) Later in the
seventies, they won their third Super Bowl in less
than ten years. In 1980, They won their fourth
super bowl by a blow out against the Rams. In more
recent years, the Steelers won their fifth Super
Bowl! T heir last and most recent Superbowl win,
the Steelers beat the Cardinals to get the world
record of 6 Super Bowl wins! The Steelers had one
owner throughout their whole franchise until last
year!

Ravens VS. Steelers

The Steelers have the most Superbowl wins in the NFL. They
have six. The Ravens on the other hand only have 2 SuperBowl
wins. The Raven's first city that they were in was Indianapolis. Then
they moved to Baltimore and stayed there ever since. They have

been the Baltimore Ravens Since 1996. Since, they were originated
in 1996 they have been in the NFL for 21 seasons. Over the span
of 21 seasons, they have managed to keep an all-time winning
record of 191 wins, 161 losses, and 1 tie. Included in their all-time
record is their playoff record of 15 wins and 8 losses. The Ravens
have had a total of 5 players go to the Hall Of Fame! The Steelers
were always in the Great Steel City ( Pittsburgh). They were
originated in 1933. That means they have played 84 seasons in the
NFL! Their all-time record is a lot greater than the Ravens. Their
all-time record is 619 wins, 552 losses, and 21 ties. In the
seventies, the Steelers defense was called the Steel Curtain. This
meant they couldn't be beaten on defense. The Steelers have 25
players in the hall of fame. That is 20 more players in the hall of
fame than the Ravens. What teams would you compare?

The Steelers Select...

The 2010 draft has arrived and
the Steelers select Antonio Brown,
from Central Michigan out of the
Quarterback position. Ever since the
Steelers drafted Antonio Brown in the
2010 draft he has helped the Steelers
to at least 5 seasons that continue to
the playoffs. A fun fact is that since

he came to Pittsburgh the fans gave
him a nickname of AB. He has set
multiple important milestones and
records for himself, the franchise,
and the sport of football in general.
Therefore, if you get more technical
into the sport itself, Antonio Brown
drawls at least two defenders to him
on most routes that he runs, d ue to
this route running, he helps the field
open up for his other teammates.
Aren't the Steelers so lucky they
snagged Antonio Brown late out of the
2010 draft?

36 and wants to retire :(

Ben Roethlisberger is 36 and is looking to retire
after the next few seasons. This is a huge problem for
the Pittsburgh Steelers.

1. He is a great Quarterback and is probably going to
the Hall Of Fame.

2. Since the Steelers make it to the playoffs
nowadays more often than not. This makes it a
huge problem to get someone good in the
quarterback position in the NFL draft!

3. The Steelers would need to trade one of their
good players to have a good quarterback.

These reasons are solutions to our problem but they

would be pretty challenging and or difficult. There is
only one more thing that they could do to keep Big Ben
out of retirement. Beg him to say, and/or increase his
salary by a lot. That will keep him with the Steelers for
sure.
