Origin of Malgudi
Malgudi – This word was made up with a collaboration of two cities
of Bangalore, one is Malleshwaram from, which the initial letters “Mal” was
picked and the other one is Basavanagudi from, which the last few letters
“Gudi” was taken, thus the word Malgudi was finally established.
