Paulist House of Mission & Studies

The Paulist Fathers New Seminary Building Booklet -- January 2022

The Paulist House
of Mission & Studies

Building our New Home

Dear Friends,
Something new is happening in the nation’s capital! With the help of God and people like you, we are building a new Paulist
House of Mission & Studies in Washington, D.C., on the land where Paulists have resided for more than a century.
This new, right-sized building, a short walk from the Catholic University of America, will be a home to those who seek to
serve you. Not only is this facility close to the campus where our seminarians receive their intellectual formation, it will be
built to foster prayer, mission, community life, study, and healthy living.
As a place of mission, the building will be home to various Paulist ministries that have a positive influence across the American
church and culture. The house will be in close proximity to those active in the national Church and U.S. government.
With state-of-the-art livestreaming technology, the new House of Mission and Studies will be able to connect with people
around the world, fostering conversation, learning, and understanding for all involved. This will make it possible for our missionary
society to have another powerful tool for reaching out and engaging with the wider Church and American peoples.
Above all else, this will be a place of welcome to all, especially to our neighbors, our collaborators and associates near and far
– and you, our treasured benefactors. This building will allow us, once again, to offer our classic Paulist hospitality.
I invite you to consider playing a key role in this newest branch of the Paulist family tree. Through
this booklet, learn more about this exciting project and find ways you can support our mission –
and the Paulist seminarians and novices who will become your future Paulist priests and missionaries.

Thank you for your consideration and generosity!

Sincerely yours in Christ,

Fr. Eric Andrews, C.S.P.
