What happens when a group of children learn how to click photographs? The
pictures they take affirm the fact that every child has a story to tell!

WWhat happens when we see and listen to the stories that children share? They
share the colors of their world with us!

This group of enthusiastic children from Ward 26, Kolkata took a series of live
workshops which gave them the opportunity to share glimpses of their world
- as they see it. They also voiced their opinions about how their ward has
changed for the better and what they hope to change in order to make the
ward adolescent friendly.

For these children, the training meant excitement – the sheer joy of learning
something new and the courage to dream beyond what they thought was pre-
destined for them provided an effective medium to share their deepest thoughts,
feelings and insights. They echo what our founder, the late Rippan Kapur, once
shared – “Lose everything but don’t lose your passion. Because then you are a
grown up and denied entry into the magical world of children.”

We would like to thank UNICEF, the Councilor of Ward 26, all the service pro-
viders and Govt. of West Bengal – it is truly a wonderful association!
