AW20 TurtledoveLondon Collection - Northern Soul

Step back to the 90’s with the AW20 collection from TurtledoveLondon and a city called Manchester . Home for a while to the founders as art students, 90’s Manchester was a hive of creativity for the music, fashion and design scene.


The beautiful grit of this industrious city is captured in the iconic paintings of Lowry. Lowry’s art inspired both the colour pops - Steel, Brick, Stone and Honey - and imagery for prints including Matchstalk Cats and Dogs and 3 Cats.

Manchester is known for the place with the most rainfall in Britain , but Mr Bear doesn't seem to mind as he is reinvented for another season in our No Rain, No Rainbows print.
The Worker Bee is the symbol of Manchester as a sign of industrious unity , and Honey Bee Print can be found on lots of new products for boys and girls. Happy Faces print reflects the friendly nature of mancunians, a fun pattern on GOTS certified organic sweatshirt fabric. 1990s Manchester was at the centre of the club and britpop music scene, creating many stars who would fly the flag for the city worldwide, joining many stars before them ( Emmeline Pankhurst, Alan Turing, Anthony Burgess ) , new Superstar print is inspired by them all.


LEGEND jacquard is both comfortable and cool, adding a retro sports twist to on-trend leisurewear.
