AW18 TD Canadian 'New Ways of Seeing'
Titled ‘ New Ways of Seeing’, ’ the AW18 collection from TurtledoveLondon is inspired by the works of British artist David Hockney

A unisex collection designed for 0-8 years, the pieces are made from GOTS certified organic cotton fabrics with in-house designed print and pattern. Landscapes and abstract mark making feature as new graphic motifs in a monochrome colour palette. Mr Panda makes a return with a new Hockey twist, along with ‘ Percy and Maurice’, referencing the artist's own pets.

Key shapes this season include slimmer fit bottoms and layering tops to be worn back with voluminous bloomer shorts and harem pants for a contrasting silhouette. All garments are designed for play, to enjoy the sweet moments of childhood.

Hems can be worn rolled up or down, garments can be layered up, sleeves can be folded to suit the changing seasons and growing children. Further options of best selling dungarees and tops have been developed , plus new product types including lava wash sweats and boiler suits in the biggest collection to date for the brand. Woven pieces have a structural direction this season in clean stripes and a versatile reversible check .

Prints can be found in quotes from this influential artist. ‘ new ways of seeing mean new ways of feeling… I do believe that painting can change the world ‘

The collection has a timeless appeal and a simple colour palette. Each season the brand includes a colour highlight to compliment monochrome dressing. This season there are two highlights in celebration of Hockney's colourful collections, Honeycomb and Teal, for girls and boys 0-8 years.
