sale of state land in and around Gweru
due to lack of evidence.

Dubbed the queen of Midlands, Dr
Dube owns vast tracts of land in Gweru,
Shurugwi, Zvishavane and Bulawayo
under her house hold company, River
Valley Properties (Pvt Ltd). The ma-
jority of this land is private owned.

The land was developed into resi-
dential and commercial stands where
thousands have since benefited.

She was suddenly arrested by the
Special Anti-Corruption Commission
Unit (SACCU) led by Thabani Mpofu
in March 2021 but the matter has been
dragging in the courts with SACCU
failing to provide any tangible evidence
against Dr Dube.

According to documents seen by
The Sun, the National Prosecuting Au-
